"Reeve has a brother?!"
She winced, covering her ears as the petite girl with blonde hair invaded the house. She wasn't expecting it when the front door slammed open and a fiery girl stood there, though it seemed that everyone else was because they immediately chuckled.
Leroy was the first to reply, "Fry, so nice of you to join us."
The girl scowled, "You best be careful Lee, I'll bust your nose."
A chorus of excited noises filled the room. Leroy only shook his head, laughing, "We're planning a spar sometime, specifically for Reeve and Bethany, you should join."
"I plan on it," The girl smirked, then the girl's eyes landed on her, "And who are you?"
Leroy moved to stand at her side, "Kota, this is Mikica. She is Reeve's cousin."
"Reeve has a cousin now, too?!" The girl screeched, it was only when the man standing behind her laid a hand on her shoulder that the girl calmed slightly, "You guys have been keeping secrets left and right haven't you?"
Darren laughed, "Actually, we just found all of this out a few weeks ago."
"Oh," The girl sighed, then pointed a finger at Leroy, "But you never said anything in the phone call, just asking if I would come to visit because it was kind of urgent."
"I wanted to see your reaction in person." Leroy shrugged.
"Whatever, Lee." The girl waved her hand in dismissal and finally moved into the house, the girl approached her and smiled, "Hello, my name is Deikota, but call me Kota. I'm Leroy's sister, just in case he hasn't mentioned it."
She grinned, shaking Deikota's hand, "He didn't, but its nice to meet you. Most everyone around here already calls me Kiwi."
Deikota arched an eyebrow, "Kiwi? Hmm. Kinda suits you, doesn't it? Say, why do you smell different?"
"Oh, uh," She look around, Leroy just nodded at her, "I'm only a human."
"Human, that's a first." Deikota hummed, "This family is definitely mismatched. But, glad you can hold your own around these guys. If you ever need anything, I'll teach you how to push all of their buttons."
She nodded and Deikota sent her a wink before turning to engulf Leroy in a hug. She silently watched as Deikota joked in partially aggressive manners with the other guys but greeted everyone nonetheless. A few times, Deikota would punch a few shoulders and they would laugh about it. She eventually figured out that the guy who had been standing behind Deikota was her husband, or mate, known as Jasper. She liked him, he was quiet and polite when he greeted her.
