Warmth surrounded her, protecting her from the chilling bite of the fall night.

She mumbled something incoherent to herself and then she peeled open her eyes. Silver fur greeted her sight and tickled her nose. She almost sneezed before she lifted her head. Slowly, as consciousness awakened her, she realized she had fallen asleep against Reeve - or Sekhet. She had no recognition of how nor when because she didn't remember being tired, but alas here they were.

Her eyes moved from the wolf's lean body that had wrapped around her, their tail draped over her legs, and she found silver eyes calmly watching her. From the way they didn't glow, she knew that Reeve was in control. She smiled.

"Thanks," She sat up a little more, "You could have just made me go inside."

Reeve lifted her head, ears slowly swiveling, and promptly gave a slight shake of her head.

She chuckled a bit, "Alright then."

Reeve's eyes glinted in amusement but then both of their attention turned towards the house where the front door opened. In a mass, her six wolves clambered out the door, followed by Cassius. For a moment, he seemed concerned, eyes searching, but when he spotted them laying underneath the tree in the yard, Cassius relaxed completely. Her wolves took off into the woods, completely oblivious.

"Good morning, girls." He greeted as he walked closer, "I figured you two were together. All good then, I assume?"

She rubbed her eyes, yawning, "I guess you could say that. Please tell me you didn't eat all the pancakes?"

"Every single one." Cassius teased, grinning.

Reeve made a noise deep within her chest and then Reeve gently shrugged her off. She obliged and Reeve stood to her full height. Reeve gave a brief shake of her fur and then they watched the silver wolf trot into the house. She stood up and dusted the grass off her jeans.

"I'm proud of you." Cassius said.

She smiled at him, "I'm proud of Reeve. She's so ... different. Its nice."

"I knew you'd come around to my side," He grinned, playfully elbowing her, "Now c'mon. I saved you some breakfast but Emmett might poison it because he thinks its mine."

"I thought Emmett didn't pull pranks?" She laughed as they entered the house.

"He wouldn't have to if Cassius would just leave him alone." Leroy interrupted, standing in the main foyer.

Cassius didn't stop grinning but he did look away, maybe to hide the amusement trying to leap to life from his green eyes, or the complete expression of I'm going to do it again and you know it. Though, she frowned when she noticed Leroy was dressed in more formal wear, then she saw that Cassius was, too.
