Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

When all I can see is darkness
You come in
And show me Your light.
When all I can hear is impossibilities
You help me tune them out
And tell me possibilities.
When all I can taste is blandness
You step in
And throw in salt and sweetness.
When all I can feel is storminess & worry
You change the atmosphere
And become my calm.
When all I can smell is dryness
You come
And bring with You rain.
When all I know is what I can see, hear, taste, feel and smell
You smile at me patiently
And teach me FAITH.

Faith is so much more than our five physical senses. Faith is an absolute trust in and dependence on God, irrespective of situations or circumstances (Hebrews 11).
