Chapter 34

"I told you girl! Kahit ano ang susuotin mo, maganda ka pa rin!" sabi ni Claudine pagkatapos akong ayusan.

I know how to put make-up pero hinayaan ko na si Claudine sa kanyang plano para sa akin.

And as for the gown, medyo nahirapan pa ako sa pagpili buti na lang at tinulungan din niya ako.

He chose a luscious red dress for me. It was hugging my body and backless. It is strapless and and there's a long slit in my left leg.

This dress looks sexy yet elegant. Just like the way how I want it.

Pagkatapos kong nag-ayos ay nag-picture kami ni Claudine at ang mga anak ko. I post one of my picture with Claudine in instagram and put a caption to it.

It says, "Thank you for everything!"  with a red heart on it.

I was starting my car when Claudine ran towards me with a black box in his hand.

I cursed when I realized what is it.

My mask!

Binaba ko ang salamin ng kotse at kinuha mula sa kanya ang box.

"Thank you, Claudy! I love you!"

"No problem. I love you too! Take care!"

I gave him a half smile bago tuluyang umalis.

Kung lalaki si Claudine, tiyak na swerte ang magiging girlfriend nito. He's very caring and you can trust him.

After I parked my car hindi muna ako lumabas ng kotse. I opened the red box and found my black mask there.

Like how I prefered it to be, may mga pulang linya sa aking itim na maskara. However, if you look into it, you'll find it simple yet elegant. It perfectly fits my dress.

After giving my invitation card, I went inside the hall where the party is being held. It's a good thing nakamaskara kami dahil malaya akong nakapaglalakad nang walang lumalapit na reporter. I planned to donate five million for the orphanage that this Charity Gala held for. I heard most of the children here are sick at nangangailangan ng isang malaking halaga ng pera upang may ipagpagamot sa mga batang may sakit.

Ever since I gave birth to my twins, kids managed to enter my heart and stricken my soft spot there. Hindi naman sa ayoko sa mga bata noon, it's just that, hindi ko alam kung paano sila i-handle. I was scared that they might find me intimidating. But now... I guess everything's changed. I just found myself being approachable to them.

I roamed my eyes to fine someone I knew but to no avail I did not. Unlike others, I have no company with me but it's okay. Hindi naman required ang magkaroon ng partner.

While searching for my assigned seat, I saw someone very familiar to me. Nakikipag-usap ito sa grupo ng mga lalaki. Probably business matters. I recognized him because his mask didn't made an effort to hide his identity.

Alam kong hindi niya ako makikilala dahil na rin sa maskara but I know him very well. Pagkatapos nilang mag-usap ay doon ko napagpasyahang lumapit sa kanya.

"Look dashing as always, huh?" panimula ko.

He looked at me with confusion in his eyes pero nang tuluyan na akong nakilala ay agad na namilog ang mga mata niya.
