"Mama," Harry whined, clinging onto his mother's hand as she led his small body towards his day care classroom.

"I don't have time for your games today," Anne snapped, she was already late for work, and the fact her two year old son was being clingy and whiny was not helping in the slightest. Not to mention she still needed to get her six year old daughter off to grade school.

"Mama," Harry whined yet again, sitting down on the ground and proceeding to cry.

"What!?" Anne snapped her patience officially all used up. "We are going to be late?" She said a little gentler, trying to leaver Harry up from the ground.

"Mama," Harry continued to cry. He didn't feel good, and he just wanted to be held and comforted, but he didn't exactly have the words to tell his mum that, so instead he just stayed sitting on the ground, wailing.

"Aww, Harry, I'm sorry," Anne apologised, crouching down in front of her son, "I don't mean to yell, but we are late, baby boy, and I have no idea what's going on with you, but this isn't like you." She sighed, usually Harry loved going to 'school' and playing with all his friends and being just like his big sister, except this morning, this morning he was digging his heels in and just kept crying and wanting to be held.

"He's sick, Mummy," Gemma spoke up, rolling her eyes. She may have been only six but she knew her brother, and the only time he whined and protested the way he was, come about only when he was sick or in pain.

"Is that it?" Anne asked her son, scooping him up from the ground and bouncing him gently, "You don't feel good?"

Harry just sniffled, shaking his head against his mum's shoulder. His tummy felt funny and the way his mum was bouncing him wasn't helping the feeling, in fact it was making him feel like he was going to get sick, and he didn't want to do that; throwing up hurt, and it tasted yucky. Thinking about it just made him cry harder.

"Aww, baby, what's wrong?" Anne asked all trace of annoyance gone at the realisation her youngest baby wasn't well and needed her.

"Is it your tum-tum?" Gemma asked, moving closer to her mum's side so that she could gently place her hand on her brother's back, "Mummy, I think it's his tummy." She said, with all the determination that a six year old could master, "I think he needs to go home, I should go home with him, and we fix him, do you like that, Hazzy?"

Harry sniffled and hiccupped, looking at his big sister and nodding. "Gem-gem, want," He mumbled sadly, trying to wiggle his way out of his mum's arms.

"Mum?" Gemma questioned, she liked school, but she liked her little brother more. "I stay home, help you?"

"Yes," Anne sighed, "We'll go home and I'll call you kids out of school and myself out of work and we'll get this little one feeling better," She said, ruffling her son's adorably scruffy brown curls.

"Mama," Harry whined again, as he felt his stomach flip, "hurt , Mama."

"I know, baby," Anne said gently rubbing her son's back, misunderstanding what he was trying to say. "We'll get you home and tucked up in bed," She said, kissing his forehead in an attempt to feel out any potential fevers.

Bursting into tears again, Harry gagged, his stomach contents coming up before he could do anything about it. Whimpering and gagging again he reached out for his sister as his mum put him down on the ground to finish getting sick.
