"Hey, Kami, did you end up getting that girl's number from 2B?"

Kaminari looked across at Sero who sat on the opposite couch in the common room with his legs crossed while he scrolled through his phone. Kaminari waggled his eyebrows back at his friend, "What do you think?"

Mina let out a derisive snort from the other end of the couch where she sat with Kaminari's feet draped in her lap, his head resting on the opposite arm rest.

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean!?" Kaminari asked, mock hurt lacing his words.

"Kami, hon, have you actually succeeded in getting a girl's number?" Mina giggled as she asked. "Any girl's number, like ever?"

"I've got your number haven't I?" Kaminari huffed.

Mina laughed and screwed up her nose, "I love you, Kami, but not like that."

Kaminari flashed her one of his cute smiles before continuing, "Hmm, I need someone on the inside. There're so many babes in that class just waiting to get to know me." He sighed dramatically as he dropped his arms across his eyes.

"Maybe you need to look elsewhere," Mina cooed as she ran her finger over the sole of his foot.

Kaminari jolted his ticklish feet away from her, "Agh stop that!" He gingerly replaced his feet on her lap and peeked through his arms at her as he continued, "Elsewhere, where exactly?"

"Maybe the girls of 2B just aren't right for you," Mina said.

Sero shrugged, "Maybe she's right, man." Mina nodded in agreement until he continued, "Maybe you should try the 2C girls instead."

Mina pushed his legs off with a huff and they thumped to the floor as she stood up. "All I'm saying is maybe you should broaden your horizons," she said cryptically as she left the boys to themselves.

Kaminari looked at Sero in confusion who just shrugged back. "Does she mean the support class?" Kaminari asked.

Sero shrugged again, "Those girls are way too smart for-" the rest of his words were cut off by the pillow Kaminari hurled at him.

The blond sat up and folded his legs in front of him. "Who do we know from 2B that'll help me?"

"What about Tetsutetsu?" Sero suggested, tucking the extra pillow beside him.

Kaminari scoffed, "He's a cool dude but Kirishima's probably told him all sorts of stuff about me already."

Kirishima's voice carried out of the kitchen, "Nothing that isn't true, bro."

"Monoma? He's nearly as perverted as you."

Kaminari snorted at that, "Hard pass."

"Hmm," Sero mused as he tapped his chin with the corner of his phone, "What about Shinsou? He's in 2B now that he officially got transferred."

"Oh yeah right. Shinsou-I'm-not-here-to-make-friends-Hitoshi?"

Sero chuckled before Kaminari continued, "Okay besides his very obvious aversion to making friends, have you seen that guy? He's freaking beautiful. I need someone to help me score a date, not get pushed aside while the ladies all fawn over him." He sighed dramatically and buried his face in his knees.

"Whoa, you ok, bro?" Kirishima asked as he dropped onto the couch next to the blond with his food.

"He's just freaking out over how good looking he thinks Shinsou is," Sero teased.

"Uhh... why?"

"Why not? He's just... ugh," Kaminari said while making a gesture with his arms that really didn't convey anything about what he thought Shinsou was.

Kirishima shrugged, an amused look on his face at his bro's uncharacteristic lack of words. "I guess," he said in solidarity.

"See!? You think he is too!"

Kirishima shrugged again before saying, "I mean if you can get past the stoic face and general crazy vibe he's got going on with the hair and the bags under his eyes then yeah, he's got a pretty manly attitude."

Sero snorted with laughter and Kaminari joined him at Kirishima's rather ironic description.

"What are you idiots laughing about?" Bakugou asked as he sat next to Kirishima.

Sero, who was still laughing from Kiri's description of Shinsou, collected himself enough to say, "Just Kiri's ability to overlook a grumpy face to see the good underneath." His words made Kaminari crack up again as Kirishima's ears turned pink.

Bakugou levelled him with a murderous glare but didn't punctuate the look with any angry words which only made Kaminari and Sero snicker again.

Kirishima turned his attention back to his left and said to Kaminari, "So why are you freaking out about Shinsou being hot?"

Kaminari groaned, "I need someone in 2B to help me get to know some of the babes, he can't help me if he's stupidly good looking, the girls won't give me a second look."

Bakugou leaned forward to grin at him, the look that was almost always followed by a biting remark. Bakugou didn't let him down when he said, "Maybe you should just ask out Brainwash if you think he's so good looking."

Kaminari rolled his eyes and huffed a response, "Guuuys! You're supposed to be helping me! Anyway, straight guys can admit other dudes are hot. I think Kiri's hot but it doesn't mean I wanna bone him."

"Thanks?" Kirishima said with a chuckle.

"My point is, he's too hot to be a wingman," Kaminari said with a decisive nod.

Kirishima spoke around his mouthful of food saying, "Maybe Sero's right, dude. Shinsou said himself that he doesn't have time to make friends so surely that would extend to a relationship too. He can't steal the 'babes' from you if he doesn't want them."

Bakugou leaned back into the couch and glared at the ceiling. "I can't believe you're having a serious conversation about this," he said under his breath, exasperated.

Sero nodded and Kaminari seemed to think it over while Bakugou muttered that he could see the gears turning in his head. "Maybe you're right, man. If the girls do want him instead of me then they'll be sorely disappointed and I'll be there to ease their aching hearts," he said too confidently.

Sero and Kirishima shared a look before Sero said, "Bro, that sounds kinda sleazy, even for you."

Kaminari rolled his eyes. "I didn't actually mean it! I'll just woo them with my awesome pick up lines-" he was interrupted by three different groans, "AWESOME PICK UP LINES, after I get Shinsou to introduce me to some of his classmates."

Honestly the lack of faith his friends showed in his pick up line game was concerning.
