Chapter Twenty- Recovery

Charlottes POV

It's has been 3 days since I came out of my coma. Lucas now knows what I feel about him now so there's no point even hiding it. Doctor Ellis said I could start to move around in the bed more and not be so still. She also said that I'm going to need crutches. No one knows how much I hate them. They hurt, others say they don't. When you've got an injury and In pain they do hurt.

I hope someone comes into visit me soon because I get very bored easily. And I'm pretty bored.

It's been 5 minutes and I am even more boreddddd. I checked to see if anything else is on tv but there's nothing. Suddenly an evil idea pops into my head. I look for the buzzer on my bed to call for a nurse. I find it under my pillow, I grab it and press. I hear one of the nurses say 'be there in a sec' I don't get why they can't just come. What if I was dying geez.

"Miss Harrison what could I do for you" the nurse asks

"Can you please get Doctor Ellis" I ask her innocently

"She's currently in a meeting at the moment"damn

"But it's really important, it's about my knee surgery" i lie.

"I'll try to get hold of her" the doctor gives in. Yay. Time for part B of plan A

"Charlotte, whats the matter" Dr. Ellis asks me

"I'm really bored and there's nothing on tv" I say innocently, the look on her face is priceless

"Honey, I thought it was about your knee?"

"Nope, your the only person I know around here"

"I'll call Lucas to come down" Ellis tells me

"Thank you" I say a bit too cheerfully

Lucas's POV

I hear my phone ringing while making breakfast. I'm sitting with Shane. Shane stayed over at mine last night. We're not on the best terms but were trying for Charlotte.

"Ugh does your phone ever stop ringing?" Shane asks me

"I guess not"

I grab my phone and answer

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Lucas Oscar?" I start to get worried, no one ever calls me that professionly

"Yeah it is, who's this?"

"Names Doctor Ellis from Parkville Hospital" oh no

"IS CHARLOTTE ALRIGHT, OH MY GOD DO I NEED TO COME DOWN, TELL ME INFO" I blurt out

"She's doing fine at the moment. She's complaining heaps. I'm asking you to come down and shut her up. Please do us all a favour?" She asks beggingly

"Yeah sure, I'm grabbing my things now"

"Ok thank you bye" i bid goodbyes back. Tell Shane what she said. He has amusement in his eyes

"What she complaining about?" He asks me. I shrug my shoulders in response and hop in the car and start to drive off

Finally arriving at the hospital after what felt like forever driving in traffic. I see Doctor Ellis and a few other nurses in her room. I wait for them to leave before I go in

"Dr. Ellis, I'm bored can you please entertain me" Charlotte said

"We could put you back into a coma so you wont be bored" Ellis looks around the room she sees me at the door. She winked at me. "Well I'm going to leave you with your future boyfriend to put up with your endless complaining"
