My training continued and I became one of the best sword fighters ever. I was quick on my feet and silent so that gave me a great advantage.
Thor somehow even managed to get Loki to teach me how to fight with a staff (or stick). I was okay at it but it was definitely not my strength.
During lunch I ate in silence. I was not upset. I was just very tired. I excused myself early and went to the library.
As I walked in I saw Loki sitting on the couch reading.
"What are you doing?" I wandered aloud.
"Reading." He answered simply.
I grabbed a random book and sat across from him. When I put the book away I sat down and thought. I wandered what I would be doing if I was on Midgard. Than I made a big mistake and thought about my family.
"Why did you do it?" I asked
"Do what?" He said confused.
"Kill my family." I said holding back tears.
All he did was look at me and shrug. I felt my heart crumble. I looked at him and stood up. "I hate you." I mumbled.
He looked at me in shock. He looked like he was going to say something but didn't. As I walked out the doors I heard him speak,
"Punny mortals. So weak." He said loud enough for me to hear.
I ran out of the room and cried myself to sleep.
For the next few weeks I did my best to ignore him. Yet no matter how much I tried I always ended up victim to one of his pranks or icy glares.
I wanted to tell someone about it but I could not because it could upset Frigga. Since I was her handmaiden I had to do my very best to please her.
I went to go check on Frigga only to bump into Loki. He glared at me and pushed his way passed me.
I opened Frigga's door and walked inside. Frigga must have seen my expression as I walked in and started to pester me with questions.
I answered some of them and she could tell I was holding back information and dismissed me early.
As I walked into my room I found Elizabeth sitting at the foot of my bed.
"Bad day?" Was all she asked.
I looked up and nodded. I knew I could trust her to help me. Afterwards I explained everything.
"You should talk to him it might help." Elizabeth reasoned.
"I can't he won't listen to me. All he does is push past me." I protested hoping she would drop the subject.
To my dismay she did not.
"You are going to have to tell him to stop sooner or later." She fired back.
I finally agreed hoping again she would stop. To my joy she did.
During my training I did terrible. I could not concentrate on anything. Again I was asked if I okay.
I eventually told them I was just tired and they let me retire to my room.
I talked with Elizabeth for a while and decided I was going to read.
When I reached the library I realized I was not alone.Loki was scanning the bookshelf.
I quietly grab a random book and pretend to read. He turns around and sees me. When he saw me he suddenly had a small smirk on his face and he began to walk toward me.
