𝔇ick and Jamie were on their way to Wayne Manor to surprise Bruce, Damian, Tim, Alfred, and Barbara with the news of the engagement. "You nervous?" Dick asked Jamie while keeping his eyes on the road. "Me? Nervous? Come on i'm Jamie Quinn, i never get nervous." Jamie looked at him "Are you?" It was completely silent for 10 seconds, then he spoke. "No."

20 minutes later

they arrived at Wayne Manor. Dick took his keys out of the car and got out and walked to Jamie's door and opened it for her, starting to sweat. "Are you hot?" Jamie asked "No, but you are." Dick smirked. Jamie giggled "No, i mean you're sweating." Dick was a little nervous but didn't want to admit it. "Lets just get this over with." Dick said grabbing onto Jamie's hand and walked her up to the door and knocked on it. Alfred answered the door in shock "why, Master Dick what are you doing here?" He asked and looked at Jamie "Oh my word." Jamie bowed "You must be Alfred." Alfred bowed back. "Come in.. come in." Alfred moved to let Dick and Jamie walk in, and he shut the door. "Master Bruce you have company." Alfred called for Bruce. Jamie looked at Dick while Dick could just look at the ground.

*Dick's POV*

Even though i don't want to admit it, i am very nervous about how this will all go. I can already tell that Alfred isn't happy, and he won't be very happy either when we tell him the news. I looked at Jamie trying to stay calm, but i think she can tell i'm nervous.

"Well, well. If it isnt's Grayson." Damian stood in the hallway looking at me with an evil look on his face. "Hello Damian." I said and forced a smile upon my face. "Why are you here?" I looked at Jamie and held her behind me, but he saw her. "Is that that stupid clowns daughter?" I just glared at him. "Yes but-" Damian cut me off "Father will be very, very angry." Just as he said that Bruce walked in. "Hello Dick." Bruce greeted me. "Hi Bruce." Bruce looked at me, but i noticed he looked behind me.. at Jamie. "Why is she with you?" Bruce had asked me. "Well... We have some news as soon as everyone is here." Damian looked at Jamie and saw her ring "What's that about?" Damian asked smirking. Bruce looked at Jamie who hid her hand behind me. "Jamie come here." Bruce said, but Jamie stayed put behind me. "Now Miss Quinn!" I looked back at Jamie "This is what we're here for. It's ok just stand by me." Jamie nodded in understandment of what i had whispered to her, and she walked right next to me. Bruce gave her a very angry look "Show me your hand." Jamie showed her right hand i started seating more. "No Miss Quinn. Your other hand!" I nodded looking at Jamie "it's ok." Jamie raised the back of her left hand showing off her ring. "Oh my word." Alfred said looking shocked. "Wow Grayson, no girl wanted you so you had to go to the only girl stupid enough to be with you.' Damian laughed. I clenched my fist. "I didn't come here to have my Fiancee being called stupid." Jamie looked at the ground "Where's your bathroom?" Bruce pointed upstairs there's a few just pick one." I Kissed Jamie's head as she walked upstairs to use the bathroom.

*Jamie's POV*

Wow.. maybe this isn't such a good idea, Batsy hates me.. That little boy Damian hates me, and even their butler HATES Me... I'm just a horrible person.. I don't deserve Dick... I went into the bathroom and started to cry... "I found a shaver that looked pretty clean.. I took it and used a trick i learned from my sister and broke the top off and took a blade out of the razor and cut myself still crying all i could do was cut, cut, and cut. Blood all over the floor from the razor and my arm.. I heard a knock at the door "Hey Quinn, what's taking you so long?" It was that kid that called me stupid. I stayed quiet. "I'm talking to you!" That boy started beating on the door, i made one last cut before i heard a familiar voice.. "Babe you ok?" It was Dick "Y-Yeah.. i'm f-fine.." I said trying to stop crying "See, she's fine," The boy said to Dick. Dick sighed "Damian go!" I heard Dick demanded the boy to do. "Fine." I heard the boy say and heard his foot steps leaving. "Baby can i come in?" Dick asked me. "N-no.." I said shaking my head. But that didn't stop him as i heard the door open and i looked at him scared. "BABY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Dick screamed at me which made me cry more. Dick grabbed bandages from the Med kit by the sink, and wrapped them around my arm and hugged me. "Baby why?... Just why ?"

*Dicks POV*

I can't believe what I just saw my head feels like it's spinning.. I grabbed the bandages and wrapped them around Jamie's arm i had to hold back my heartbreak, but hearing her cry just kept breaking my heart.. I hugged her "Baby why?... Just why?" she just hugged me back crying into my chest. "Baby, let's just leave and go home, ok baby?" she looked up at me and nodded. I picked her up and carried her downstairs and glared at everyone before walking out and putting Jamie into the car and I kissed her head and closed the car door and got into the drivers seat and drove us back home.

20 Minutes later

*Dicks POV*

I got us back home and i looked at her and found her asleep. I smiled and rubbed her hair out of her face and got out of the car and carried her into the house, and put her down on our bed. I just watched her sleep because she looks peaceful again.

2 Hours Later

I heard a yawn and I looked at Jamie who was waking up. "Hi Sunshine." I kissed her head as she looked up at me and smiled "Hi Daddy." I smiled at her and i kissed her. "I'm hungry." She said looking at me. "What do you want to eat?" I asked her "Tacos." Jamie said smiling. "As you wish Princess." I kissed her lips before getting up to go make us Tacos.

Jamie followed me to the kitchen and watched me make tacos. "That smells good." Jamie said smiling at me. "I hope so." I smiled at her as i continued making our tacos. Jamie sat down at the table and wrote on a napkin, but what was she writing?

*Jamie's POV

I'm so sad.. the Batfamily didn't like me.. What if Dick leaves me because they don't like me.. I grabbed a napkin and wrote "I love you." On a napkin with a heart and sad face and threw it in the garbage. But I knew Dick was watching me so I made a big fake smile. He finished making the food and gave me a taco, and I ate a taco. It was completely silent the whole time. After I finished my taco I went to our room and started crying into a pillow.

*Dicks POV*
After Jamie went to our room I cleaned up and remembered the napkin in the trash. I took it out of the trash and read it. My heart sank "What..?" I folded it and put it in my pocket and went to my room and lied next to Jamie and I just held her close and I hummed until she fell asleep and I fell asleep right after she fell asleep.
