(Fluff)

You had no one besides one very close friend of yours. That one friend being none other than the outlaw Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe herself, so to say the least, you always had someone to cover for you as long as you did the same for her.
The two of you had been inseparable friends since high school. You were a new student who had stood up for her in front of some people who had been picking on her.

Flashback

You and your 'parents' had just moved in from a few states away, looking for a fresh start. Unfortunately for you, that fresh start ment starting over in school.
Stress had overwhelmed you and it was quite obvious, though your parents didn't much care. They were the type of people who loved each other and absolutely no one else, not even their own children. To them, only each other existed and anyone else who tried to get in the way was nothing. They spoiled you to keep you quiet and out of the way.
The night before, you stayed up unpacking everything important like clothes, toiletries, etc. You also took the time to hook up your lamp, television, and anything else. Lastly, you had set up the more bulky furniture like your side table and desk. Your dresser was the first thing you had set up in your room.
Your parents had signed you up to start school immediately. The second day of being in the new and unfamiliar state. The day you arrived, there wasn't time to set anything up besides the beds. The first full day being there was spent meeting neighbors, driving around to find everything, dinner, then unpacking a slight bit before bed which is what you had been doing, so when your alarm went off in the morning, you were exhausted.
No matter how tired you were, you got up anyways, putting on the required uniform and going into the bathroom to brush your hair, teeth, and do anything else your normally did as a part of your morning routine.
You had new supplies for school that you had gotten before you even moved states, all of which was already in your bag that you picked up and sling over your shoulder. Walking downstairs you heard in on your parent's ferocious love making. If it was the first time you had heard it, you would have been completely, utterly disgusted. However, this was an everyday deal for you at this point, so you blocked it out like you always did, and fixed yourself a slice of toast before heading out.
The new house was very close to the school, so you could walk to and from each day. Luckily, today was a sunny day, and would've been rather enjoyable if you weren't new to this whole new set up and change of scenery.
A few other kids were walking the same direction as you on the sidewalk across the street. None of them seemed all that interesting besides one girl you saw walking with her shoulders hunched and head down. Her white hair covering her face as she walked, feet dragging slightly. You watched as some other kids ran past her, bumping into her side but not saying a word as they ran up the front steps to the school. The girl did nothing, nor did she even flinch.
You wanted to walk over and speak to her but you were cut off when you heard the first bell ring. Sighing, you entered the building, and into the office where you were given your schedule, locker number and combination, along with a print out map where each class was located.
Some people eyed you as you walked to your locker to put your things away, but it didn't bother you. You were a new student, people were bound to look with curiosity as to who you were.
No one came up to talk to you as you started heading to your first class, you'd rather early but that was better than being late. While walking you heard a group of people laughing. Looking over to where the sound was coming from, you saw a group of kids your age huddled around someone. You slowed your walk to try and see. In the middle of the small mass was the girl with white hair that you had seen earlier, but now you could see her face. Pale, smooth skin, and gorgeous red eyes. Her lips looked incredibly soft and kissable... however they were turned in a frown and her eyes showed hurt. It didn't take long for you to realize what was going on.
One of the guys had said something before going to push her. You stepped in the way of him and held your ground, it was like pushing a wall for him as you stumbled one step. You glared at each and every one of them as you stood in front of the girl. "And what's your business messing with her?" You growl.
"Aren't you the new kid? Standing up for that freak?" The boy asked, laughing, the others laughed as well and you blushed. You hadn't thought of how foolish what you did seemed.
     "Maybe..."
"This isn't none of your business. Get out of here."
"Not unless you leave her alone." You say lowly.
"Get out of here." He repeated stepping forward to push you out of the way. You brought your hands up to his chest and harshly pushed him back.
"I said leave her alone." You said sternly. The guy scoffed and turned to the other.
"C'mon... I'm bored." He said, glaring at you as they walked off.
You sigh and turn around to face the beautiful girl behind you. "Are you alright...?" You ask softly, and she looked at you as if you were some alien. Had no one ever stood up for her before? She gave a slight nod and you smiled a bit at her, holding your hand out. "I'm (Y/N)." You say, and the girl returned the small yet gentle smile as she took your hand.
     "The names' Ashe..."

End Flashback

Since then you've always looked out for each other. That being said, you two got into a lot of trouble together as well. Now you were both wanted for priceless amounts.
Today was especially unlucky for you. You were now 26, Jesse McCree had just up and left the gang, and the police had some how gotten involved. Well, maybe it was more because Ashe, in her fit of anger, blew up a set of train tracks outside of the town... But there was an unspoken code in the Deadlock gang. If something went wrong, blame Jesse. Simple as that.
No one quite expected to have a spur of the moment gun fight with the sheriffs, and you had not expected to be the only one to get arrested. So now, sitting in the cell, you became rather lonely, rather fast.
However, you knew you be in for very long. Ashe would be coming to get you. Not a moment later, you heard a loud boom and that sweet familiar southern accent shouting. You smiled and stood up from the ground of your prison. Within seconds the woman you loved dearly ran up to your cell door as her men dealt with the police out front. She was holding a pair of handcuffs and the key as she grinned at you and unlocked the door, opening it wide for you.
"(Y/N)... you're under arrest." Ashe teased with a smirk. You smile and step out, wrapping your arms around her neck.
     "What for?" You ask playfully.
"For stealing my heart." She said before pressing her lips to yours.
