(Fluff)

You were a bright eyed new recruit, getting use to the whole heroic thing. The agents had taken a liking to you, but especially Tracer. She had been the one to show you around the base, introduce you to the others, and she even helped you unpack and offered to help you train.
During your talk with her, you had learned that her name was Lena, she was extremely talkative and energetic which you didn't mind. After about a week of working for Overwatch, the two of became great friends. You sat with at breakfast, lunch and dinner. She helped you train and you helped her.
Now you had been an Overwatch agent for five months and your day started with Lena knocking on your door this morning in an especially good mood today.
"Get up love! I have plans for us today!" She chirped from the other side of the door. You groan and pulled the covers up closer to your face. Eight in the morning was too early for you to get up on a day off. Soon Lena invited herself into your room, blinking onto your bed and sitting by your side. "Good morning!"
"It's too early..." You whine as Lena giggled.
"No it's not love, c'mon. Let's go eat breakfast." She jumped up off the bed, pulled your blanket off from your shoulders then grabbed your wrist, pulling you off the bed.
"No." You groan, being forced to get out of bed. You stood in front of the Brit and pouted. "I'm still tired."
"Oh well! Get ready, let's go!" You playfully rolled your eyes at the shorter girl's energy, groggily stumbling into your bathroom.
While you got ready, Lena waited patiently on your bed, legs crossed with her hands on her ankles sitting up tall.
You decided to just wear some leggings, a t-shirt, a jacket and boots. It was fall time so it was fairly chilly outside and you wanted to be prepared.
Stepping out you looked over at Lena. "Alright I'm ready. Let's go." You say and not a moment after, the girl was up and at your side. She grabbed your wrists and pulled you out of the room. When she led you past the mess hall you gave her a confused look. "I thought we were getting breakfast?" You ask and Lena giggled looking up at you.
"Well not here love. We're getting good breakfast."
"Hey I think the food here is pretty good!" You say, faking an offended look, causing Lena to grin.
"Okay... better breakfast then." She said.
"Where at?" You ask as she led the two of you out of the Overwatch base.
"Just a little breakfast diner." She replied and smiled up at you causing you to blush slightly and grin.
"So what's the occasion?" You tease. Lena rubbed the back of her neck shyly.
"Oh, nothing. I just thought we could hang out today?" Smiling sifting you nodded, though her new behavior was a bit strange and odd to you.
The two of you arrived at a little diner, Lena opened the door for you and you thanked her, stepping inside. A waitress led you to a table and took your drink orders, soon coming back with them and setting them down before walking off to let you two decide on what you wanted to eat.
You looked through the menu, finally decided on what you wanted to eat before the waitress came back. Both of you told her what you wanted before she gave your ticket to the kitchen. "So when you woke me up you said you had plans for us today?" You ask, looking up at her and she nodded with a proud smile.
"Yeah! You don't mind do you?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly and you shook your head no.
"Of course not. I don't mind. It's not like I had any plans anyways." You say with a smile. Lena grinned in excitement, hearing that she got to spend the whole day with you.
The two of you talked about multiple things that didn't matter while waiting for your food. Once your waitress delivered your plates, you both ate in confortable silence. You weren't paying attention but you could feel her watching you at times. Finally, you looked up, locked eye contact with her as she blushed and looked back down to her plate. You thought nothing of it and finished eating your breakfast.
When you were both done, you had offered to pay, but no matter what, Lena just would not let you. Eventually, you broke and let her pay for your breakfast. The two of you left and you followed Lena. "So what now?" You ask, putting your hands into you jacket pockets.
"Well, would you like to just take a walk? Through the park maybe?" She suggests and you nod with a smile.
"Yeah I'm fine with that." You reply, causing Lena to grin.
The rest of the walk was spent in silence, and when you two got to the park you only spoke briefly. The walk was mostly just to enjoy each other's company and look around at the scenery. It was a bright and beautiful day with a slight breeze, the colors of the leaves had changed and were bound to start falling any day now.
You two had ended the walk by sitting on the swings talking about nonsense. It didn't seem like you had been there very long until you checked the time and noticed it was half past noon. The two of you got up and you suggested lunch. Lena agreed and you ended up taking her to subway which is something you guys did a lot. The workers knew what you normally got and you were decent friends with the cashier.
After eating, the both of you left and Lena seemed to be fidgeting with the hem of her shirt. You looked at her with a bit of a confused look. "What's wrong?" You ask and she looks up you, forcing a smile.
"Oh nothing... hey um, can I talk to you real quick?" She asked, a light pink blush dusting her cheeks as you slowed to a stop, now facing her.
"Yeah of course. Is something bothering you?"
"Kinda... I need to confess something..."
"Confess?" You ask and she nodded, looking up and locking eye contact with you.
"Yeah I... Well, we've known each other for five months, and we're really close friends and I don't want to ruin that but I need to get this off my chest." Lena started, taking a deep breath. "I have a crush on you (Y/N)... I was hoping it'd go away after a while but I think now I'm just starting to fall in love with  you..." She spoke quietly, a dark blush covering both of your faces.
After thinking about what she said for a bit, a big smile grew onto your face. "Really? You're serious?" You ask, your heart starting to beat faster as Lena nodded.
     "Yeah... why?"
"Because I feel the same way." You say, blushing as you rubbed the back of your neck. Lena looked up at you again with a bright smile before throwing her arms around you, hugging you tightly. Grinning, you wrapped your arms around her, as she giggled softly your heart fluttered a bit. "I love you." Whispered and Lena pulled away, pecking your lips, causing a dark red color to spread over your face.
"I love ya too!" She giggled.
