(Fluff)

Growing up, you were a fairly lonesome kid. Your mother had died in a car accident two years after you were born and because of that your father started to drink excessively. You didn't have many friends, you only hung out with a boy you met while out and about on the streets who was also quite lonesome. As time went on the two of you became great friends.
When you two were older you both joined the Los Muertos gang. You were accepted and found more friends within the gang. The both of you had been in the group for years and it had turned into more of a family. Once you hit 20 years old, Vince, who was your best friend that you had joined the gang with, died in a shootout. After that incident, you kept to yourself, and the others noticed, especially one of the more important people in the group, Olivia, known as Sombra.
Sombra had tried getting close to you after Vince's death, though you didn't let her. It had been one year since then, and she continued trying, although by now, her attempts were flattering you and you were scared you may have been developing a crush on the gang's most trusted hacker.
"Que tal (Y/N)?" You turn around as the Latino woman hoped down from the crates she was sitting up on and slung an arm around your shoulders. It was late, the sky was dark and the only light came from the stars and the moon above the streets of Dorado. This caused the painted skull on her face and bones on her arms and legs to glow a bright neon green, bringing out the pink in her hair and cause her blue eyes to shine.
"Nothing, what were you doing up there?" You ask and she shrugged, walking with you down the alley way.
"Can't I relax for bit?" She teased.
"I didn't say that." You reply looking over at her as she smiled and chuckled a bit, causing your heart to flutter a bit. Why did you have to fall for someone you had no chance with?
"Well then don't imply it. Now, I'm bored. You doing anything?" Sombra asked and you shook your head.
"No, why?" She grinned and took her arm off your shoulder and grabbed your wrist, taking off out of the alleyway. You yelp in surprise as she pulled you along. "Warn me next time!"
"Sorry amiga!" Sombra giggled as she led you out into the streets of Dorado, stopping on the sidewalk and letting go of your wrist.
"What's with the hurry anyways?" She shrugged and started walking down the sidewalk, kicking some pebbles here and there.
"Oh nothing." She turned around to face you, walking backwards as you followed her.
"Where are we going anyways?"
"I don't know, I didn't think I'd get this far." Sombra shrugged as she turned back around, walking beside you.
"Get this far with what?"
"I didn't think you'd agree to hang out is all."
"Why wouldn't I?"
Sombra sighed. "C'mon, follow me, I want to talk." She said, leading you down the street and soon out of the town limits to a small, grass covered hill nearby with some benches around. It was a good place to sit with a look out view of Dorado. She took a seat down on one of the benches, motioning for you to sit by her. You sat down and turned to her.
"So what did you want to talk about?"
"Well, last year when Vince died... you've been very distant. Not just with me but with everyone. Why?" You frown at her question. "I know it's a touchy subject for you but I've been trying to get it out of you all year." You nodded and sighed.
"Alright... it's just he was my only friend."
"That's not true, all the guys in the gang, they're friends. I'm your friend. Right?"
You nodded again. "Well yeah, but I mean, he was my closest friend. He was the only one there for me when I was younger. I could tell him anything and everything."
"You can tell us anything too you know. Especially me, we want to help. I want to be there for you and I want you to trust me. You can trust all of us in the Los Muertos gang (Y/N)"
"I know that... it's..." You shook your head, unable to find the right words you wanted to use.
"Did you... were you two a thing?" Sombra asked rather quietly, you looked over to her and saw a hint of hopelessness in her eyes.
You shook your head. "No, no not at all." You reply and she sighed in what seemed like relief.
"Did you have a crush on him?"
"No." You reply and Sombra seemed to brighten up a bit. "I have my eye on someone else actually..." She frowned a bit at your comment.
"Oh..." Said quietly and you gave her a confused look.
"What's wrong?" You ask and she shook her head standing up.
"It's nothing... let's head back." She sighed and you stood up with her.
"Not until you tell me what's bothering you." You reply, crossing your arms.
"It's not important."
"I don't care if it's important or not. If you want to be my best friend you have to let me be yours, that means telling me what's wrong." You say and Sombra gave a small smile.
"That's the thing. I don't want to be your best friend..." She replies. You were taken back by her comment.
"What do you mean? You just said..."
"I know what I said, you didn't let me finish. I don't want to be your best friend... I want to be your girlfriend..." She said quietly, frowning slightly. Your eyes widened and a dark blush spread over your cheeks.
"I- you what?" You ask in shock.
"I like you, (Y/N). A lot..." She blushed and you shook your head in disbelief. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to ruin the friendship we already had... I walk you back to the hideout." She sighed before you stepped forward, pressing your lips against hers. Her eyes widened before she melted into the kiss, gently moving her lips against yours as she wrapped her arms around you.
After a short while you pull away, a dark blush painting your cheeks. "You feel the same...?" She asked quietly and you gave a small nod with a shy smile. Sombra grinned widely as she hugged you. "Te amo, (Y/N)..." She whispered.
"Yo también te quiero, Sombra." You whispered in return.
