(Fluff)

Being a senior in high school, you had a lot of responsibilities. It was only the beginning of the year but you were done with it already. You only hung out with one other person, your best friend Ashe who you had met in middle school. The two of you had been through hell and back together and it was no question that you two had one of the strongest connections of anyone else around. As long as you two had each other's backs, no one messed with either of you. When you were younger, you were picked on a little bit for the simple fact you didn't have friends. However, Ashe had it much worse. You remembered the day you two had met like it was yesterday.

Flashback

Sitting outside on a bench, you watched from over your sandwich as other kids ran around playing tag and such. You were alone, eating your lunch, and people watching. This was an everyday thing for you but you didn't mind. It was amusing to watch everyone run around. Normally, you didn't see anything too exciting, but today happened to be an exception.
As you got up to throw away your now empty lunch sack, you heard some kids laughing and someone telling them to go away. Turning around, you saw a couple kids standing over a pale girl with pure white hair. You had seen the girl before, Ashe was her name. You never talked to her, but you'd acknowledge her with a grin and a wave if you crossed paths with her. She never said anything to this, instead she'd force a small smile, then she'd keep walking with her head down.
You frown as one of the bigger guys pushed her a bit, Ashe hugged herself and looked away from them, you could tell she was on the verge of tears. Walking over to the trash bin, you threw away your lunch sack before you made your way over the kids picking on Ashe.
Once you approached, you pushed your way through them to stand between then and the white haired girl. "You heard her, leave her alone." You say, crossing your arms as they laughed.
"Awe, the girl with no friends protecting that freak? That's ironic." One of the petty girls said in a snotty tone, smirking at you and the girl behind you. Before you could reply, one of the boys stepped forward and shoved you back by your shoulders. Ashe jumped away as you stumbled back and fell down on your tailbone. You stayed there, looking down at the pebbles of the playground underneath you. The kids laughed as they walked away, they must've gotten their complete satisfaction at your embarrassment.
You put your arms on your knees and sighed as they walked off. Soon, you heard someone moving beside you. Looking over, you were met with a pair of bright red eyes as Ashe had sat down beside you. She didn't say anything, and instead leaned her head onto your shoulder. You smiled with pride before you rested your head against hers.

End Flashback

Sitting at your desk underneath your lamp, you were working on your pre calculus homework. You had been texting Ashe most of the time however. When she had suddenly stopped responding to grew worried. You lost focus and got up from your desk. As you started putting your things away you heard something small hit your window. You turned around, confused as you walked over to your window slowly, freezing a bit as there was another light ping against the glass. Was it raining with some hail maybe? You opened the curtains to look outside. It was was dark, but the moonlight was enough to illuminate the figure of your best friend standing in your lawn with pebbles in her hand.
Grinning, you opened your window and peaked your head out as Ashe put the pebbles back. She looked up and waved at you, whisper yelling up to your window. "(Y/N)! Come down here!"
"Why? I'm busy." You whisper yelled in return.
"Too busy for me?" Ashe asked, faking a hurt reaction. You giggle and nod.
"Yes now go away!" You say with a smile as she picked up some pebbles again.
"I'll keep throwing rocks at your window!"
"You do that." You say as you go back into your room to make Ashe think you had left.
"Where art thou Juliet?" You heard Ashe call with caused you to blush a bit as you giggled to yourself. "Let down your hair Rapunzel!" She added shortly after. "I won't go until you come outside!"
You laughed and was about to peak out before a pebble made its way into your window and onto your lap. Smiling, you picked it up as you heard Ashe call to you again. "Juliet! Come out Juliet!" She laughed afterwards as you finally looked out again, throwing the pebble back out at her. Giggling, she jumped back away from the tiny stone. When she looked back up at you she blushed her long hair out of her face. She looked absolutely beautiful and there was no denying you had a crush on her. In fact, you've had a crush on her ever since freshman year in high school.
"Alright, I'm coming." You giggle and climb out, closing the window behind you. Ashe grinned widely as you climbed down the slight bit of roof under you, then dropped down to the ground which was a really short fall.
She ran up to you and hugged you as you giggled. "Okay Okay!" She pulled away and smiled at you. You were the only person who ever saw her genuine smile, and it was gorgeous. "So what do you want?" You ask as Ashe wrapped her arm around your shoulders, pulling you with her as she walked off your lawn.
"I'm bored and I just want to talk with you for a bit about something."
"Talk about what?" You ask, looking up at her as she smiled softly.
"Well..." She slowed to a stop and stood in front of you, letting go of your shoulders.
"What's wrong?" You ask, standing in front of you.
"Nothing... but first off I want to thank you..." She spoke softly, her expression serious. "You're my best friend and the only one that cares about me. I don't want to ruin it but..." She sighed and you looked up at her confused.
"Ruin it? How? I'm never going anywhere, no matter what." You say as she smiled.
"(Y/N)... I want to be more than just your friend. I think I'm in love with you..." She said quietly, a dark blush on her cheeks as your eyes widened a bit.
"Are you... serious?" You ask and she nodded slowly.
"Yeah... I'm sorry." She said as she looked down. You smiled as you shook your head, cupping her cheeks, forcing her to look you in the eyes.
"Don't apologize." You said, leaning up to her and pressing your lips against hers. She froze for a bit but quickly relaxed as she returned the kiss. It lasted for what seemed like forever before you pulled away, running your fingers through her long white hair.
     "Does this mean...?"
"We're together." You giggle as she smiled widely.
     "Really?" She asked in excitement.
"Yes really." Ashe didn't say anything else before she hugged you tightly, without hesitation, you returned the gesture.
