7) A year without him

Naina was writing the name list while preeti was sitting near her complaining. Naina was pretending to listen.

"Naina write sameer's name first." asked preeti.

While naina wrote mitali's name first smirking and then other girls. She simply wrote 'all boys'.

"I am sorry preeti but I am tired of writing boys names as they are many."

Now they were at the middle of 3rd term still samaina hadn't talked. Teacher changed everyone's place. Now naina is at first row and sameer at third row. Both would just smile at each other whenever they saw each other. Soon it changed as stealing glances. Now both would see each other while other was not seeing.

Time had ran so fast now they are sitting 9th std. Naina was sitting in 9th C. She was praying God for preeti to be in her class as the management will shuffle students every year. God accepted her wish and preeti was in her class. Unfortunately kamya and sameer was not in her class. At break kamya came to meet preena. Kamya shared that she had no friend in her class. The day was donated for introduction.

The next day naina was climbing the staircase. She saw sameer going in front of her and he turned right side which led to 8th std and he realized where he was going and turned back. Now naina was in front of him. He saw her going inside 9th C. Naina was bored. She and a boy was sitting inside the class. She don't even know his name. She started drawing something in her rough note. Even she don't know what she was drawing. That's when sameer came with a boy. She saw him through the corner of her eyes. She could hear him slightly.

"Thank God. I didn't came in this class." said sameer seeing naina. While the boy near him was confused. Naina felt angry. I need to say this but he is saying she thought.

"Why?" asked the boy.

"Nothing just to avoid beatings." said sameer again looking towards naina who was pretending that she wasn't noticing him.

"Does the class teacher is so strict?"

"I don't know but the students are strict."

"You are speaking differently sameer. I can't understand anything."

"That's good." saying so he went to his class. While naina closed the note in a huff.

A week passed. Naina and mitali went to 9th D for some work. Mitali hadn't tie her shoe lace properly and she bumped into sameer. Hearing mitali's sound, naina turned and sameer saw her. Both saw each other and naina turned to the board and sameer turned to mitali. He said "It's ok." and went to his place.

Days passed. Everyday she would cross 9th D. She know that he will be there. So she always turn her face to the oposite side to avoid embarrassed situation of him seeing her noticing him.

I completed a year in one part as there will be no samaina conversation and samaina scenes are very very low. So only I rushed the whole year in one part. Hope you all like this.😊💙😁🖤😀❤
