Naina pulled the screen outwards, allowing it to gyrate around the room. The fingers of the orange sphere touched the wrinkle near her eyes which was caused due to her big smile. The room was illuminated by her action and she motioned her body along with the sun rays to the rhythm of nature. She grabbed a pillow and squeezed it in her arms, unable to manage her elation.

"Naina . . . " A love mixed merry toned voice reached her ears and she turned to face the doorway, where Sameer stood, leaning over the wall with his hands crossed against his chest. His tresses were flying in the molecules of the air, as his grin, brightened his face, causing Naina to fall for him more.

Naina ran into his arms suddenly, literally pushing him. Sameer chuckled and locked his hands, with her in his arms.

"Naina."

"Same--er . . . S-sameer . . . " Her voice was muffled and he was shocked when he felt his shirt being dampened.

"Naina, kya tum ro rahe hain?"

Naina didn't speak but she rubbed her face against his chest. Now, Sameer was more concerned. He tried to pull her, but her hold was firm.

"Bolo, Naina." His fear filled voice made her pull away and she gazed into his dark orbs with her misty hazel eyes.

Her lips broke into a smile and she clasped his hands with hers and declared, "Hum jeet gaye, Sameer."

Those words.

Those words out of her mouth always seemed like a fantasy. But now, it became real. They won. Sameer and Naina won. Sameer wiped away the tears from her cheeks with his thumb and embraced her in his warm soothing arms. He rested his chin on her head; peace. Both closed their eyes and it seemed like a long soothing sleep on mother's lap.

Ring. Ring.

Both parted away and Sameer glared at Naina, who was checking her phone. "It's Preeti." She informed and was about to keep the phone in her ear, but it flew in the air and landed on the bed safely. She frowned at Sameer who pulled her by her wrist.

"Tum hamesha usake saath hain!" Sameer whined.

"Vah chintit ho sakata hai. Mujhe use soochit karen ki sab kuch theek hai."

"Do after I left." He tugged suddenly, by her wrist and she landed on his chest with a force.

"Sameer, nana ji aur papa ghar mein hai." She tried to free her hand from his hold.

"Toh kya? Jab tumane mujhe gale lagaaya to tum yeh pata nahin tha?" Sameer raised one of his eyebrow and a mischievous smile played on his lips.

Hue of red roses bloomed over Naina's cheeks and she glanced down, urging Sameer to peck those round red cheeks, but he didn't. Naina freed her hand in the moment when Sameer was adoring her and moved away from him.

"Tum baahar jao! Wait. First of all, tum tumhaara nana ji ke saath aaye? Tab tak tum kahan the?" Naina questioned in confusion, as she saw only Nana ji in the lounge. Actually, she was angry at Sameer for not coming. Sameer's grandpa asked her to go inside and they talked for 15 minutes or so, then her father called her and she was informed that her and Sameer's marriage would take place soon.

"I was in the car. Nanu asked me to stay there. Aur, voh kya 'tumhaara nana ji'? Vah tumhaara bhi hai."

"I just said it in a flow." She responded and moved further backwards, seeing Sameer taking a step forward.

"Sameer, tum--" She placed her palm against his chest, pausing him from moving further. He slowly removed her hand and tugged her. She gasped and darted her eyes to the floor. He grazed her cheek in a sedate way. She gazed up at him; locked her perplexed orbs with his manifest one. His fingers burnt her skin in its way, as it strode over her cheeks. Naina shut her eyes and opened again. And, Sameer saw the same thing; confusion and fear. Those grazing fingers immediately clutched her face, tight enough to hold her away from the miseries.
