The sky took a change of its colour from dark blue to light. Hue of pink appeared on the sky, followed by orange. The yellow mixed orange ball raised out of it, creating a beautiful scenery. The scene was reflected in her eyes and made it wet. Her lips were curved, amusing on the tranquility before her.

The lines of wonder, also called as sun rays, grazed her body. She closed her eyes. The warmth of it. Pure. She felt like sleeping in the warmth of her mother's lap, which she had never experienced. She opened her eyes and realised, nature is the only thing constant. Others are always unpredictable. Anything could happen  in next second. Like the accident in her life. It left its long shadow in her life. Very long one, that she was left away in the darkness, waiting for the light to pass and make her life bright.

The moment.

The moment came. Yes. She felt like the time for the light to make its appearance in her life came. Her eyes twinkled. The smile on her lips strengthened and a new hope rised inside Naina.

The next moment what left her mouth was, "Sameer . . . " She have hurt him enough and herself too. But, she could not stop. Sameer was not ready to leave her. If he was adamant for her happiness, then why she should not? His happiness was her priority.

Now, she felt the light dimming and the return of darkness in her life. She wondered, without Sameer, she would be left in the darkness? Was Sameer the light?

"Naina!"

"Coming." Naina said, and moved out of the balcony. She glanced at the sun rays which was on her pathway and how she motioned away from it. Maybe, that's what she was doing in her own abysmal life. Motioning away from her happiness, from her light.

On the other side of the city, Sameer stood, clutching the fabric under his hand, which he would wear in the evening for the Sangeet. He pondered, if Naina would leave her hair free or not. As he walked towards the closet, he was stopped by the rays of Sun. It attracted him. He stood there briefly for a minute. It was soothing for him. Maybe because, it was the same light consumed by Naina. A plain smile played on his lips. Her name instantly lifted up his face.

"Sameer!"

"Coming." Sameer said, and moved. He glanced at the rays of the Sun. It was saying something to him, which he couldn't understand. It screamed to him. He couldn't decipher but a grin appeared on his face.

She sat on the bed and grazed the silky cloth. Preeti sat near her and put an arm around Naina, shoulder. Naina smirked and glanced down.

"Preeti.. Kya yeh sab galat ho raha hai? Kya mein galat hun?" (Am I wrong,?) Naina's voice was low, but steady. It contained thousand words and meanings behind it.

"Main nahi samajh saktha . . . " (I can't understand . . . ) Preeti voiced concern.

"Main Sameer ke saath kya kiya . . . " (What I did with Sameer . . . ) Naina's head hung low more.

"Naina . . . " Preeti said softly and removed her hand off from Naina.

"Batao Preeti!" (Tell, Preeti!)

"Naina tu bas. Apne point of view se soch rahi hai. Kabhi Sameer ka socha?" (Naina, you are. You are seeing from your point of view. Have you ever thought of Sameer's?)

"Lekin . . .  Yeh sab mein usike liye hi toh karr rhi hun . . . "(But . . . I am doing this for him . . . ) Naina defended herself as she rolled a thread around her finger.

"I am not saying no to it. . . Par tu khud soch bas ek baar . . . Kya tu Sameer ke elawa kisi or se shadi kr skti hai? . . . " (Just think once, will you marry anyone rather than Sameer?)
