25) Re-entry

She buried her face in the pillow trying to ignore the continuous knocking. But she failed. The knocking was irritating her. She screamed and opened the door.

Preeti was greeted by a red puffy eyes, messy hair and tear stained face. Finally naina opened the after lot of protest. Preeti was worried of naina's state.

She pulled her into a embrace. Naina stood there without any motion.

"What happened?" Preeti voiced concern and broke the hug.

"T-t-there......h-h-he....." Tears rushed into her eyes. She sat down and cried.

"Whom?"

"S-s-sam....."

"Sameer?"

Naina bobbed and hugged preeti.

"Sh....." Preeti rubbed her back.

She sat there confidently, ready to meet him. After the confrontation with Preeti, she was feeling relieved.

"You only took this decision. I'm not supporting you but still if you are going to continue with it, stay firm! Just face it! Also, think once again about him. He was waiting for you for so long."

"But, he will not be happy with me."

"You will not change?" Preeti didn't wait for an answer. "Your choice. You will only suffer and is suffering."

Her face fell at the last line. I am suffering. Yeah! I am. But will not. She decided to herself.

He entered. He was in a blue suit. She sighed. Why should he look so handsome....only handsome? No, he looks hot! That too his broad muscles which had grown in these years. Those silky hair which was trimmed slightly was making her mad!

Control Naina! He is not your boyfriend. He is your boss.....that doesn't mean I can't look at him. She convinced herself.

He went to his cabin. She was staring at him from her cabin's glass. After 30 minutes or so, Naina was called to his cabin.

"Good Morning, sir!" Naina greeted him with a professional smile.

"Good Morning."

"What's the purpose for calling me here, sir?"

He rolled his eyes thinking for a reason. "I have some doubts..."

"You can ask your PA."

"I have some doubts and I want you to clear it!" He said firmly more like an order. She bobbed and sat down before him and started explaining.

His ears were deaf. He was staring at her as she wad talking. A small smile playing on his lips. He was adoring her by tilting his head side to side which made her quite uncomfortable.

As she was finished with her explanation. She exclaimed, "That's all!"

He came out of the trance and responded. "Thank you and I love you."

She nodded at the first two words but the last 3 words made her astonished.

"What?!!" She screamed.

"I LOVE YOU!!!" He said clearly and firmly.

"But...." He sensed anger rising in her and cut her off. "I proposed you on October 4. The time was 12:37. And you accepted it. I think we didn't break up after that." He said coolly.

She huffed. "I am doing now! I broke up with you!"

"I need a perfect reason." He demanded.

"B-b--because........you will not be happy with me."
