Imagine being best friends with Luke. He was your neighbour when your family moved into the neighbourhood when you were 4, you & Luke became friends instantly & fortunately, he went to the same primary school as you.
If anyone asked, "Has anyone seen Areli?" The typical answer would be, "With Luke somewhere most probably" or vice-versa, you guys were inseparable.
You & Luke always hung out, whether it was at school, or at home; you never got bored of eachother - you guys were the best of friends & always promised that you'd be friends forever.
So far, that promise stuck true as you & Luke went to the same high school together; & even though you weren't in all of the same classes together so you both did develop new friendships with other people, you both still made time for the other.
Not in a creepy way, but if it weren't for Luke, you can't imagine what state or what kind of person you'd be...
He's the one that gave you his shoulder to cry on, made you turn your frown upside down, cuddled you when you wanted to lash out, cheered you up through your bad break-ups with your ex-boyfriends, complimented you when you felt down - well, he complimented you all the time - Luke knew you more than your own family, & you were thankful to have someone like him in your life.
Since you were both about 15, Luke always had a sparkle in his eye when it came to music; whether it was listening to it, playing his guitar, or even just singing.
You could tell that music was what he wanted to do in life, & you could tell he was going to be amazing at it; even though he told you he doubted it. But you knew he would take over the world with his talent.
At some points in his life, you could tell he wanted to just give up; whether if was a comment on his YouTube channel about one of his covers, or on his Facebook, or twitter, anything.
But you always told him to never give up; to use these haters to be more determined just to prove to them how wrong they were about him. That his talent wasn't worth giving up & throwing away because of some stupid comments from jealously. You didn't want to see him give up.

You & Luke are now 18. Still, the best of friends; even though Luke dropped out if school with some of his mates to start a band; at first you said he was mental but then you recalled how amazing his musical skills were & thought that he was making a good decision & couldn't wait to see him make it.
Few months passed & Luke & his mates' band, 5 Seconds Of Summer - 5SOS, were doing extremely well, & right now they were getting ready to leave for their UK tour. Honestly, you couldn't believe how big & known the band had gotten in such a short space of time, I mean they were pretty big back home in Australia, but to be doing their own UK tour... Amazing. Proud wasn't the word. No doubt about it, you were going to miss Luke like crazy. He felt the same way, you guys were like twins, always together.
You remember being ground Luke's house while he was packing; laughing at the amount of skinny jeans he was packing. He didn't need to leave for another week but you had told him to pack now & get it done, because knowing Luke, he would've left it till the night before he had to leave.
You giggled, "Jesus Luke how many black skinny jeans do you own??"
He grinned, "I like my black skinny jeans, don't judge me, Areli"
"No, seriously, you own more skinny jeans than me & that's saying something. Why don't you wear normal jeans sometimes?"
"BECAUSE Areli, skinny jeans don't make these look good & I need to look good" He chuckled as he gestured to his legs with a smirk on his face.
