Chapter 14: Roses

~ Nolan's P.O.V. ~

Y/N is coming over - like usual - but today it's different. I plan on asking her out.

I'm wearing her favorite shirt and cologne. I'm hopeful that she'll say yes, but then again I'm not sure.

Mother comes up to me, "Nolan, son. Is Y/N coming over today?"

I look at my mom, "yes, she is."

Mother smiles, "awesome! That girl is a great friend, kid. Make sure to not fuck things up!"

I chuckled, "yeah, I will try not to."

Mom nodded and left my room.

I lay in my bed, grabbing my phone and opening a text I got from Y/N.

Y/N💕: hey, Nolan. Do you mind if i bring my friend and my dog with me today?

I thought for a moment, it wouldn't hurt to have her friend over, right. It's not like they'll get in the was of me asking her out.

Nolan😎: no, that's totally fine!

Y/N💕: ok, thx. See you later!

I smile at the screen, she makes me so happy. Nothing could ever get in the way of that.

Finally, I hear the doorbell ring. I run faster than you can say Fluffy and open the door. I expected to see Y/N, but instead I saw Damian . . . I hate him so much!

Before I start questioning why he's here i see the reason, Y/N was walking with Fluffy, a smile planted on her face as Fluffy yaps and runs around.

My heart flutters at the sight. Looking at her with a smile, I notice Damian laughing with her, picking fluffy up.

They walk up to me, "hi, Nolan!" She says hugging me.

"Hi, cutie!" I say hugging back.

She smells so nice, like roses. She breaks the hug and comes inside. Damian walks closer and puts his hand out for me to touch him. I grip hard as i put a fake smile on. To my surprise, his grip is really firm. I signal him tht o come in.

My mom came running as soon as she knew Y/N was here, "oh, my beautiful girl! I'm so glad you're here! -- oh, and who's this young man?"

Damian stepped forward, "Damian Wayne ma'am, son of Bruce Wayne, as you know, I'm sure. I am a close friend of Y/N. I hope my visit to your house is welcomed," he says, grabbing my mom's hand and kissing the back of it.

Mom, of course, fell for his "good kid" act. But I new better.

"Of course! Mr. Wayne's son, i knew that! You're always welcome here. As much of a gentleman as you are!"

Damian noded and backed up.

"So what will we be doing today?" Y/N asked.

I smiled at her ignoring Damian's presence, "i was thinking we could go see a movie! Avengers: Endgame is out!"

Y/N's eyes lit up, "really?! Oh, my gwad! Damian and I wanted to go to that movie!" I rolled my eyes, "now we can all go!"

Damian chuckles, "we can't go without my brothers though. I hope you don't mind if they come along," Damian seemed to be asking for permission.

I shrugged, "I don't care."

"Yeah!!!!!!! Endgame, here we come!!!" Y/N yells.

Fluffly jumps up and down yapping and sticking his tounge out. Y/N laughed and picked the dog up, she started kissing it and hugging it. What a lucky dog!

I noticed that Damian was now on his phone. God I hate him! He's not gonna steal Y/N from me, she's Mine!
