Clace - TMI AU

Jace flew across the room and collided with the wall. The pain was almost unbearable. He looked over to the other side of the room and saw Clary fighting with Valentine. He watched as she kicked and stabbed him. He felt a rush of pride before remembering how scared of him she had looked when he'd come to save her. He looked away from her. It was too much for him to handle at the moment. He had to focus on the fight.
"No! Father." Cried Jonathan as he realised that Clary had killed him. She'd collapsed and Alec was by her side again.
"Mother!" Screamed Jonathan. He heard Isabelle cry out, covering her ears. Jace quickly applied an Iratze and then ran to his sister. The room shook and the doors flew open to reveal a woman.
"Lilith." Snarled Magnus.
"Go my son, save yourself. I will take care of these pests." Jonathan clicked his fingers and the warlock opened a portal.
"Kill the blonde, and make him suffer." He said and disappeared through the portal. Alec let an arrow loose after them but he was too late. They'd escaped.
Jace, Alec, Izzy and Magnus all turned their attention to Lilith.
"You foiled my son's plan. How dare you?"
"Did you actually just say foiled? This is the 21st century and definitely not a movie." Remarked Jace.
"We are the protectors of the human race, someone like Valentine needs to stay dead." Said Isabelle. Lilith gestured and Isabelle flew across the room. The was a cracking sound as her head connected with the wall and she slid down it. She did the same to Alec. Jace stood in horror as he watched both his adoptive sister and parabatai fly across the room.
"Alexander!" Shouted Magnus. Blue fire shot out from his hands towards Lilith.  She screamed out in pain as Magnus advanced on her. The sound of Lilith's scream snapped him out of his frozen state. Jace ran over to his siblings and was relieved to find their heart beats were steady. He healed them, drew out a seraph blade and chose an Angels name at random, "Mikeal." He turned back to Magnus and Lilith and charged at them.
"Unfortunately I can't kill you and risk a war with your father, I live in his hell." She said, addressing Magnus. At that moment Jace flung himself at her whilst she was momentarily distracted. She screamed aloud as the seraph blade made contact with her skin. Her body shuddered with rage and she attacked Jace who just about dodged all her blasts. They fought, Jace dodging her blows just as ungracefully as she dodged his. He flipped over her and stabbed her shoulder. She screamed and lashed out sending blasts in every direction. Suddenly he saw blue sparks and watched as they hit Lilith. Then arrows flew and embedded into Lilith. Jace turned to see Alec standing, bow and in hand, his quiver on his back. Lilith screeched and summoned a horde of demons. "Attack!" She bellowed and the demons stormed at the shadowhunters. Jace ran straight through them to Lilith, killing as many as he could. "Fight me one on one!" He called out to her and she laughed out loud.
"You cannot goad me into a fight. I have no Male pride."
"Suit yourself," he said and charged. The sound of battle surrounded him. His body pumped with adrenaline and time seemed to slow down as he advanced. He raised his sword and then brought it down in a whistling arc. Lilith deflected his blow with a magic whip. She wrapped it around his leg and pulled causing Jace to collapse into himself. She brought the whip down and slashed at him. He cried out in pain as he felt his skin tear. Isabelle ran into view blocking Lilith's whip with her own. They slashed at each other as Jace got too his feet. He took advantage of her preoccupation and  leapt into the air, backflipping over Lilith, landing behind her. He thrust his arm out before she could register his movement and pierced her heart straight through her back. She screeched and exploded sending Jace and Isabelle flying in different directions. He struggled to his feet and ran over to help Isabelle. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, just a few cuts and bruises. You?"
"Better now," he glanced over at Clary "now that she's safe." He met Alec's eyes across the room. He'd killed the remaining demons and had gone to help Clary,
"Guys come on, we need to get her to the infirmary." They portaled back to the institute where they met Maryse waiting for them at the doors of the library.
"I was worried sick! What happened?"
"No time to explain," said Jace moving out of the way so Maryse could see Clary.
She nodded gravely, understanding straight away, "I'll get the silent brothers."
The silent brothers came and kicked everyone out of the infirmary so they could treat Clary. Jace waited outside. He sat with his head between his knees. Isabelle came over and sat next to him, brushing her hand across his back.
"You okay?" she asked him softly.
"I should've never let her out of my sight,"
"It's not your fault, you couldn't have known. Non of us did." she said in a quite voice. He knew he should be reassuring her that it wasn't her fault either but he just couldn't. She probably blamed herself more than he did but he didn't care, he was so angry at himself.
"She did, she knew. She knew there was something wrong with him, i could tell. And non of us payed attention. I was with her before he took her and i fell asleep. I should've gone with her or stayed awake to make sure she came back. She could've died."
"But she didn't."
"And you didn't see the way she flinched away from me, like i'd hit her."
"That is definitely not your fault! You saw that it was an Eidolon demon that had morphed into you or something. He must've been using you face to torture her because he knew that she cared about you. He did it to make both of you suffer so don't let it!
Jace she's okay now, the silent brothers are with her, so she'll be fine. Plus she stopped Valentine from coming back so she just saved the entire shadowworld!"
He nodded but his heart was still sinking "I'm gonna go get some sleep or whatever." He got up to leave for his room and Isabelle watched him go with worry. She sent a quick text to Alec and called out to Jace "Good night." Jace waved to her but didn't turn back.
