"Ashley! Ashley, wake up, we're here!"

My eyes snapped open to see Wanda crouching over me. "Wh-What?"

"We're just about to land in Paris. Come on."

"What do you mean, we're- What?" I asked, confused. I ran my hands over my face, feeling no dirt or grime or cuts. I was wearing the same clothes as the day I'd been taken. "What's going on?"

"What do you mean? Are you okay?" Wanda asked, concerned.

"No, no, I-"

"Come on. We'll brace ourselves and you can tell me."

We braced ourselves for the landing in between two crates.

"What's going on?" I repeated under my breath.

"What do you mean?" Wanda repeated herself.

"We were just in Paris," I said.

"What?" Wanda asked, reeling back. "No, we're just landing now."

"No," I muttered. "No, no, no." I played with my necklace which sent a faint green glow over my clean fingers. "What's happening to me?"

"Ashley, you're scaring me," Wanda said nervously. "Maybe you should wait at the airport for us-"

"No!" I shouted. I was the only one who knew what was going to happen and could possibly stop it.

She gave me an alarmed look.

"Sorry, but no. I need to get my friend back." I said, following her off the plane with a nod to the pilot - again. "And this time, I'm going to keep him."

We went and met up with the others.

When we got there, I was pulled into a group hug. I hugged them back, ignoring my pounding heart. I had to act normal.

If I was right, I had gone back in time. I didn't know how, but something had happened to me and I had gone back to the last moment I had felt safe; sleeping. I was getting some serious Flash vibes up in here.

"Guys, we need to go." I reminded them after a moment. "We need to save Ryker."

"Right, right. Of course," they all said.

We held onto Renée in the same way as before and appeared again outside the airport.

"Sorry, guys. We can't go far. I'm exhausted from the journey over." Renée apologised.

"All good," I said and turned away.

Wanda was still watching me warily and as I started to walk away, beckoning them, she ran up behind me. "What's up with you? Did you have a dream?"

"Not so much a dream as it was a reality." I muttered.

Judging by her wide eyes, she heard me.

"Kidding," I said dryly. "I've got this."

We took the same cab as before and walked the same route to the park, but I didn't enter it.

"Come on," I said. "I know where to go."

Hopefully, if we caught them off guard, we'd be able to fight HYDRA.

"Where are we going?" Marina asked.

"A hotel. I know where Ryker is." I called back as they scurried after me.

"How?" Renée asked.

"I just do. Stop asking questions. Follow me." I snapped, walking faster.

We reached the hotel and stopped just around the corner.

"Okay, Renée, Louis, Marina, you three go in. Wanda and I will wait out here." I ordered.

"Why us?" Marina asked, wary.

"You three are the least likely to get arrested. Go on." I shooed them inside.

While we waited, Wanda turned to me, a hard look on her face.

"Okay, how'd you know where to go?" she snapped.

"I've done this before." I murmured. "A month ago."

"What?" she asked.

"I-"

"Guys, there's nothing here. No one." Marina said as she stepped outside.

"What?" I asked, pushing past her.

I stepped into the building.

Everything was the same as before.

The empty lobby, the pried elevator doors, the spilt pot plants, everything.

I turned around.

"Hello, Elementals. What a pleasure it is to see you again." Svetlana Yurkov spoke. "After all, it's been so long."

I screwed my eyes closed and gripped my necklace tight, ready to fight.

(A/N)

Um.

So idk what I've actually done.

It's uh...

I thought it was a good idea.

Anyway.

I wanted to leave this chapter until tomorrow but I got a comment and decided to just go for it.

And I'm in science and it was awkward because I became a battery and had to hold hands with people. I pity them because my hands are sweaty and gross.
