I lay on my bed after the decathlon team had left in my suit and tried to locate Peter by getting my A.I. to try and ping him somehow.

"Miss, would you like to play one of your suit's built-in games to pass the time?" my A.I. asked.

I sat up straight. "Games?"

"Yes. Mr Stark put Fruit Ninja, Piano Tiles and Pacman in your suit, among others. He also put in Spotify, Netflix and YouTube along with Premium subscriptions to all. What would you like to try first?"

"Uh... As nice as that is, why would he put all that in the suit that I use for fighting bad guys?" I asked in confusion.

"You can ask him yourself. Calling Tony Stark."

"Crap! No, no, no, no, no! Cancel! Cancel ca-"

"Hey, kid." Tony's voice reached my ears.

"Oh, hey...! I'm, uh... Hey." I said, getting into what I thought was a casual position. "What's up... Bro."

"Bro? What am I to you?" he asked teasingly. "A street thug?"

"What? No! I... I call everyone bro." I said as my biceps cramped on the arm that was holding me up. "Gah, cramp!"

"You good? Calling for a reason?"

"No, actually my A.I. called you," I said, stretching.

"Why?"

"Er... Well-"

"Miss, you have an incoming call from Hayley Campbell." My A.I. told me.

"Oh, sorry, Mr Stark. I should get this or she'll keep on calling until I do." I said quickly.

"Mr Stark? Why are you calling me Mr Stark?"

"Pete's rubbing off on me. Bye!" I said. "End call. Answer Hayley's call."

"Right away." My A.I. replied.

"Hey, Ash! How's DC?" Hayley asked me.

"I think it's nice," I replied as I walked over to my window to look outside. "I haven't really done anything since I'm stuck at the hotel."

"Go for a walk! Enjoy the sunshine!" she told me.

"Yeah, maybe." I shrugged.

"Anyway, I know this wasn't a long chat, but I have to go now. Some of us actually have to be at school. I'll talk to you later. Bye, Ash!" Hayley hung up, leaving me to stare out my window.

"Bye..."

After about twenty more minutes of trying to find Peter, I got a text.

Liz:

Hey, we're going to the Washington Monument you wanna join?

Me:

Sure gimme 2 secs

I waved my hand over my necklace, my suit disappearing, and pulled on my jacket.

I was out the door before I realised my phone was left on the table.

I ran up to the decathlon team and grinned. "Did you win?"

"We won!" Ned grinned, giving me a fistbump. "Michelle answered the last question."

I smiled at Michelle. "Nice work!"

"It was easy." she shrugged.

I talked to Ned for a while as we made ur way into the monument, then his phone began to ring.

"Peter, are you okay?" Ned whispered, shooting me a nervous look.

"Is he there?" I asked quietly.

Ned nodded. "Don't worry, it's safe. It's in my backpack." he put his backpack on the conveyor belt in front of us for an x-ray.

"You missed the decathlon. I covered for you. Ashley was going nuts trying to find you this morning, dude."

"We're at the Washington Monument now. You gotta-" Ned was cut off by Liz snatching the phone from his hand.

"Peter is that you?" she asked.

"Liz, can I-" I reached for the phone but she held up one finger to make me wait.

I sighed.

"You freak!" Liz said, angry. "You are so lucky we won. You know, I want to be mad, but I'm more worried. Like, what is going on with you? Ashley's constantly stressing now."

I listened to Peter's frantic voice raise over the phone.

"Miss, all items on the belt, please." one of the security staff told her.

Liz silently moved to place the phone on the belt, but I grabbed it from her hand.

"Peter?" I asked.

"Ash? Oh, my god, you can't let Ned's backpack go through the x-ray!" Peter told me.

"Woah, woah, woah. Back up. Why not?"

"The glowy thingys' a bomb!"

My heart leapt into my throat as Ned's backpack went through the x-ray. "Oh no," I whispered.

"Ash? Ashley, did you stop it?" Peter asked in my ear.

"It's too late, Peter. It's gone through. What do I do?" I asked frantically.

"I don't-"

"Miss, can you put the phone on the- Holy- You're Gaia!" the security worker gushed, pointing at me.

"Yeah, I am. One second, please?" I asked, but his shout had alerted other people who looked over at me in shock.

"Ash?"

"Ashley, come on, we gotta go." Liz waved me over.

"Can I have a photo?" a young girl asked.

"You're shorter in real life." a man added.

"Excuse me, can I-" I tried to get through the people but couldn't, and the door to the elevator slid closed.

Liz looked at me regretfully as the decathlon team, and bomb, disappeared from my view.

"Ashley?" Peter asked me.

"Get here fast, Peter. It's in the elevator. I'm taking the stairs." I said, my face set in a stony frown.

"I'll see you soon, Gaia. Karen, end call." Peter hung up, leaving me to wonder; who the hell was Karen?

(A/N)

Hey so it's the holidays here and I've been sleeping and hanging out with my friends (I spent a whole day at the mall with two of them and my feet were so sore) and I've been away so I haven't updated in 13 days (I think (I can't math)) (do math not meth kids).

I've also started two new books, one is a fanfic for DC Titans and the other is another Marvel one (with no love interest!!)) and I've been listening to Don't Rain On My Parade (the Glee version) way too much and I've been trying to sing it but I can't and my throat is broken I stg-

*sighs*

I didn't get enough sleep last night to function like a normal person and my last three meals have been pizza. What is happening to me?
