Part 6

That night Jesse cried himself to sleep , mourning his already lost chance before he could even fight for it .Those emerald green eyes shimmered with tears till they closed after a long time .

Zane sighs as he gets the blanket over the distressed prince, carefully removing his golden crown from his head , and taking off his shoes. All the time  trying to convince  himself not to do anything in the rush of the moment, as the prince gave a small sob.  He quietly got out of the room and closed the door.

  He walked to his assigned room and took off some of his clothes , sitting in the edge of the bed. His head in his hands ,so much was happening in such a short time span . The announcement, the trip, meeting with The Domino Prince , his conversation with Aster, and lastly  the tears and  sadness in his own prince's eyes .

Zane sighs once more and looks at the window remembering what Jesse said about prince Jaden  . 'That one huh?' It's been long since Zane heard Jesse speak of  the one ,and even longer since he saw Jesse tear up like that . Only speaking of that person was sensitive to Jesse, that's why no one in the castle ever mentioned anything about it .

Everyone loved their prince too much and believed that he was the future of their kingdom , he was kind to almost everyone, but knew when to take the lead, when to be serious . But meeting that person here , must have been to much for him , along with all the other things going on .

Zane slowly gets under the sheets and closes his eyes. 'If he's going to play that way , I'm not letting him take anymore steps .' And it  was a promise he intended to keep. He was here for a reason after all. And that disrespectful Prince of Domino was not going to stop him from his duty.

~~At Jesse room ~~

A dark shadow slithered in Jesse's  room by the small openings of the crystal window .The shadow swirled a few times , getting bigger , denser, until a human figure got out of it. Clearly a man by the board shoulders and hardened masculine features , a black cape surrounding his body .

The man smirked and started walking towards Jesse's bed , stopping at the side of the bed . "Finally ..."  he whispered and reached out touching Jesse's cheek with his cold  hand. He slowly run his fingers over the warm skin, enjoying its softness ."....I'm able to be near you."

Jesse instinctively whimpered in his sleep and backed away from the foreign cold touch. Still asleep.  

The man smirked and pulled his hand away and on the silky pillow by Jesse's head . He leaned down by Jesse's ear ,"....You will be mine ... all mine , it's just a matter of time ,my Queen. "  He said . His cold breath running over Jesse's skin, making him shiver .

He got back and run his calloused fingers over Jesse's plump lips , and smirks once more leaning down to capture Jesse's lips in his,  only to stop halfway down, his eyes going over at the clicking wooden door .

He growled deeply in his throat , as he got back up and glared at the door as the shadows came out again ,  swirling around him once more ,  making him vanish in the darkness of the night.

The door clicked open as Jaden stepped inside , looking as tired as when he woke up . A total mess.

He gets off some of his clothes and walks to his bed , getting under the silk covers .

He was dead asleep as soon as his head hit the soft pillow. The tiredness of the war strategies  and files ,together with meeting the Crystal Prince and what happened through it too much for a lone day .

Thought sleep felt way better that night, and his bed strangely warm .

~~ ~~Morning ~~ ~~

Jesse slowly opens his eyes  at a strange movement of his pillow. Pillows weren't supposed to move were they ?

Jesse blinks the sleep away from his eyes , hearing a strong sound. He gets his head up and looks , his eyes going wide, as he stared at the sleeping face of Jaden. His hands were in Jaden's bare chest , Jaden's arm circled around his waist, tightening at his movements to get away . Jesse was screaming inside, his face rosy red  'WHAT THE HEEEEEEEEEEEELL?!?!?!?!?!?!?'
