Jaden smiled , limping back in Haou's castle after five and a half months. It was so relieving, seeing these walls unscathed, after such a long time ,their familiarity warming his heart as he limped down the hallway to his brother's room .

He wanted to tell Haou that he had come back victorious , and about his big plans. Jaden smiled ,squeezing the ring in his pocket. The past year ,Jaden and Jehu explored all the sides of their relationship, becoming even closer . To the point that the moment Jaden left he vowed to take things with Jehu on another ,more serious level when he returned.  Wanting to keep that love near to him , wanting more than the brotherly and fatherly love that Haou and his father gave him , respectively   .

A lot of people may call him greedy, but he never had a love like this before and to the now  twenty years old, Jehu's love meant everything.  He had never experienced something like this before in his horrifying life ,  emotionally exhausting life , and now that he found it it felt too good to let go.

That led to his current predicament. He had come way before his army in the Dark kingdom's lands , the army hours after him , but safe. No one knew that he was here , only the maids that saw him walk down the halls . 

Of course in the course of six months he had written letters to both Jehu and Haou  , his day getting brighter every time he got their reply, in the hellhole of the war.

Jaden stopped and mentioned for one of the maids to come closer to him . The maid quietly and obediently came near him and bowed, looking down. "Wh-what is it that I can help you with,  Your Highness? " She asked  in a slightly trembling voice , keeping her gaze down at the carpet on the floor.

Jaden smiled, too happy to bother with figuring out the reason of the maid's strange behavior. "I wanted to know, where does my brother and my lover reside ?" 

The maid flinched a little bit, which Jaden noticed. Must be mistreated, he thought seeing her small,  thin frame, as her clothes stayed loose on her body , which,  he noted , was currently shaking.
"H-His Majesty and Lord Jehu are in his majesty's chambers, Your Highness. " She responded , her voice kept trembling.

Jaden nodded , and sighed , realizing that the maid couldn't see him nod and spoke. "Alright, thank you.  You're dismissed, go back to your work. " He ordered softly, not wanting to frightened the maid more than she already was.

The girl bowed again, as Jaden winced , thinking she broke her back from how much she bowed this time , and with fast steps  left him alone in the hall.

Jaden then shook his head at her strange behavior and turned, starting to limp towards his brother's room smiling as he approached the golden doors.

Jaden slowly walked to the front of Haou's bedroom door, grinning like a idiot and putting his hands on the door ready to open it , when he heard a deep , sinfully melodious moan come from inside . An......An awfully familiar one .

Jaden felt his heart clench painfully in his chest , as he refused to believe what his mind was reasoning at that moment . But the tears that started forming spoke more of what he was feeling  than voiced words.... N-N-No ... He wouldn't....n-no ..... It's just my imagination..... They wouldn't....they wouldn't do that to me ....Haou may have chosen another of his concubines. ....i-it's just a coincidence. ..

Jaden shook his head , wiping his tears with one hand and grabbing the handle of the door to manage to keep his balance,  as his knees were shaking badly... Jehu loves me .... he wouldn't ch-cheat on me....with my b-brother...  At the last thought his knees gave up ,and he fell on the floor with a thud , both his hands on the floor as he trembled and tried to get up and open the door.

Somehow, even with the pain in his leg he managed to get up ,clinging to the doors handle and placing his ear at the door.  Hoping that none of his thoughts was true, as tears were flowing down and didn't seem to stop ....just hoping-

"Mmmm....Haou,...please ~.....I-I need you to -  Ah! "

"Hmm?....What is it Jehu? ......What do you need, dearest ? ~"

"Nghhh....Faster !.......Ah ! ...Like that !  .. Oh god , DON'T STOP !"

A chuckle was heard then a pleasured groan . "  You feel too good for that to happen,  dearest ~"

Jaden pulled away from the door , falling down on the floor once more knocking over an metal armor there . He's eyes widen as get heard the clank of the armor when it hit the floor, his head snapping back at the door , hoping they didn't hear .

The adrenaline in his body, made him ignore the pain in his leg as he got up and run away from that place, tears blocking his vision as he stumbled more than once , and ended up in front of his room,  their room .

He opened the wooden doors and stepped inside, slamming it shut after him.

Then ....

......Then.....

He fell down fell on the floor, not caring if he was hurt. ... Just  laying there in his back ,on the cold floor as his tears fell and his heart, gave the occasional pang in his chest.

Or the pieces that were left of it .

He noticed the dust on the floor, on the well-made bed , shelves.

"Of course. ...hahaha......why would h-he come here?...hahaha. .. He ...he ...has. " A sob. "... I-I wasn't enough. ......" More tears fell." I....wasn't enough. ..... I never was.... I'm no good.... Not needed. ......... Not.......loved...."

A pure soul broke that night.... A hardened one was born...
