Part 24

The young royal  backed away hearing the glass shatter. One hand  protectively over his small belly , the other reaching behind him. Shit . His knife wasn't there. Where? Emerald eyes searched the room only to see his knife on his work table.

Now in the bloody hand of the woman in the room,  who delicately opens it , the light reflecting on the sharp metal. "Tell me ,my king..... Does the Emperor know anything about his little heir?"

Her voice came dull to Jesse's ears, void of any sort of emotion.  The male kept looking around the room frantically,  moving as far away from the female as he could. "Guards!"

Alexis chuckles, blue heels clicking on the stony floor, as she turned around , the long knife in her bloody hand , as she ran one of her fingers along the blade ." He doesn't , does he?"

"Guards!" Jesse yells once more  , adrenaline running thru his whole system,  his eyes fixated on her form , getting ready for any move that the other may make.

"Poor thing , don't even try ." Alexis shakes her head , a wicked smile decorated her lips. "The guards are long gone.... " Heels sounded against the floor in Jesse's direction. Nearer and nearer. "Now ....since our emperor doesn't know..."

Jesse watched, desperately trying to get away,  all the training he had ever gone thru disappearing in that moment  . All he wanted was to protect the unborn one , his child. ....But with the way the the female's face went even crazier. It was becoming overwhelming.

"Why don't get rid of the little pest without much noise? Hm?"

In a swift movement, that should have come only from a well trained warrior, Jesse found himself on the floor, the woman on top of him. Emerald orbs stared wide up at the woman , who just smirks in return .

"Oh how the mighty have fallen. " Alexis mocked , the knife nearing Jesse's belly word by word. "This is your end Jesse... You will be forgotten...All you ever had will be mine. Forever."

Jesse looked up with glossy eyes , afraid  to move if he could really hurt himself and his child. "You won't get away with this ." Was all he managed to get out , glaring up at her .

"But I already have dear king. " The smile that crossed her face , sent shivers up Jesse's spine, the knife finally over the later's belly. The sharp silver blade  slowly pushing down to pierce the skin under the silky clothes. "Now keep your voice down ,dear ."

Jesse kept glaring up at her,  even though the panick in him was rising. No ! No ! It won't end like this! I won't die without holding my child in my arms!  In a rush of new found adrenaline Jesse threw the female off him . But not without consequences.

"Gah!" Alexis gasped,  falling back on the floor, the knife slipping her grasp , and swirling on the floor.  "You little bitch! I told you to not move!"

Jesse glares at her ,hand over his shoulder , as the white fabric got red , blood running down his cheekfrom a cut barely millimeters away from his eye. "Fuck you! I'm not going to give up my child or my life like that! Get it in your head! He's mine ! My lover ! My husband! So fuck you!"

The female shot up on her feet , grabbing the knife from the floor and charging towards him . Her intention,  his heart. " I will teach you how to speak to me disgusting little faggot !!"

Jesse groans , preparing to dodge,  getting up on his shaky legs, still holding his shoulder ,only to hear the clang of blades . He looks up noticing a male form in front of him, his vision weak from losing blood.

"So the general decided to finally show up then ? Huh?" Alexis smirked, trying to hide her anger at the lost attemp,  taking a step back , holding the knife on the man's direction.

"Didn't know you could become like this , Alexis. " The man's voice was deep as he spoke , gracefully walking forward and in a blink being behind Alexis, leaving the female no moment to get away. He raised his silvery sword towards her throat ." Threatening to kill your king and actually getting into action. "

Alexis growls, turning the knife in her grasp so it was pointed towards the male's body. " You know good enough that he didn't deserve that title or place , Jaden's is mine. And that faggot went and got pregnant with his child!"

The young royal blinks trying to stay awake and muster a glare in her direction , moving his hand away from his belly and slowly to his side ." You are mad ! Freaking mad! I'm a male . How can I get pregnant?!"

"What ?! But you just-"

"Shut it Alexis, don't make things up." The General glared at the back of her head , swiftly taking the knife from her hand , his sword nearing her neck. "You're accused of wanting to assassinate the king and accusing the king of such hilarity . When the Emperor comes back , he will be the one to judge you . Until then , your new home will be the dungeon. Hope you enjoy your stay . Soldiers!"

As soon as they were called two young, but well built men ran near in the room , grabbing Alexis' hands and bringing them behind her back , as the woman struggled to get away from the men. " You won't escape me Jesse! I will make sure your death will be unforgettable! The Emperor is mine!
I'm the true Queen!" The woman kept yelling and yelling, down the corridor as she was dragged away by the soldiers.

The General glared at her form till it disappeared in a corner.  He turned around walking towards his king.
Kneeling down,  he helped the young ruler on his feet , before picking him up bridal style. "I apologise for showing up so late my king.  We were ambushed on the way here ."  He admitted, running out of the room and towards the healers chambers.

The royal's tired eyes , tried to focus on the man's face, as he kept running carefully not to make him bleed more.

"....................Y........Yubel?"
