Jaden didn't come back to their room after he left the night before.  Jesse,  he honestly didn't know whenever to regret the words he said or not.

Apart from Jesse, himself no one would know how their king had cried until the sun had risen. The soft rays of light falling on the shaking body of the young ruler , who was resting against the headboard  , both his hands over his belly.

He couldn't blame the child. There was no way he was blaming the child for Jaden leaving. He saw from Jaden's perspective. It wasn't every day you get the news of your male husband is pregnant.

So Jesse chose to just be silent. Wipe his tears every time they came back, even when there were too much. He would just wait.

Turning his head sideways towards the window, he looks at it blankly . Even the doors opening , don't break his concentration. He hears the footsteps but makes no move that he heard. He knew he was safe as long as was inside his chambers.

"Jesse...."

He heard the gentle voice, almost a whisper as the person took seat at his legs ,staying quiet for a few.

Jesse snaps out of his stupor, when he feels a warm hand caress his cheek . It wasn't Jaden, those fingers were longer than his husband's, this hand was softer.

"Baby bro.."

"Where were you yesterday? " Jesse asks without looking at him his eyes shifting down to the floor .

Jehu sighs softly, bringing his hand on Jesse's shoulder. "Jaden couldn't see me here ,Jess. You know why."

"....Am I that bad to trust ,Jehu ?" Jesse's shoulders shake under his hand , making Jehu feel even worse for what he did years ago. He wanted revenge on his brother yes, but there was still a big part of his heart that didn't want to lose Jesse.

"He left ,you know? " Jesse bites his lip , his shoulders shaking more . He crawls to Jehu's chest resting his head on his shoulder. The need for familiar comfort, bursting inside him . The pregnancy site was making him weak ." He left after I told him.....didn't even look at me and left Jehu...H-He snapped away f-from me as if I was some kind of disgusting d-d-dirt..."

"Jesse..." Jehu wraps his arms around his brother's smaller frame, his hold tight enough tobe comfortable. Looking down at the teal hair ,his lips stretch in a smile." Don't jump in conclusions, yeah? The Emperor is on his way to bring our sis here ok?"

"Ruby?" Jesse peaks up at the mention of his five year old sister. He looks up at Jehu even though his eyes were teary , jehu could clearly decipher the happiness swimming in those emerald orbs.

"Yes. Jaden is bringing Ruby here."

"Thank you. " Jehu whispers, his head resting on his lover's shoulder, his arms wrapped around the petite waist. It wasn't unusual of him to show affection in public. Either way, if someone stared at them for too long , Haou's glare would back them off.

"How many times are you going to thank me , Jehu?" His king's taunting voice ,whispered near him, making Jehu laugh a bit.

"As many times as it takes you to know that I'm grateful. " He replies, pressing a kiss over Haou's hear, feeling the smaller shiver in his arms. His gaze chases his brother ,who walks from one side of the ballroom to another- ordering the maids and butlers on what to do.

"There's other ways to show it."

"My my , aren't you greedy,my King ~" Jehu teases, tightening his hold a little bit.

The taller hears a small rare laugh from Haou. His own smile stretching in a charming grin.

"Maybe yes , maybe no." Haou replies ,his fingers teasing circles on Jehu's exposed forearm.

Jehu laughs , tilting Haou's head towards him and pecking his lips. "I'm yours, however you want." The smirk he got in return, seriously messed up his insides. The tiny butterflies, never stopped since the first time Jehu saw the king.

Jesse bit his lower lip hard . He stopped working a while ago , his eyes fixated on his brother and Haou. Seeing them like that made his chest hurt quite a bit.

Their relationship, even if had begun not in the best circumstances, was an relationship of choice . Those two chose to be together.

His and Jaden's....will always stay an arrangement. Jaden didn't choose to be with him for him. No , he choose to be with Jesse, because of the their third party. Their followers, their people.

An obligation.

That's what their marriage was . It would never be more. Jesse had to accept that.
