A blue and golden carriage stopped by the front door of the Domino Kingdom. Prince Jesse sighed as he couldn't turn back right now. He slowly got up and stepped out of the carriage.
There was a man with dark teal hair waiting for him just outside. The man smiled at him and spoke in a soft voice ,"Come on my Prince, that frown doesn't suit you in anyway. "
Jesse looks up at the man who had been there for as long as he can remember. "Zane ,no need for formalities and ya know very well why I'm like this." His lets out a fake smile and shrugs "I never had a say ."
This time is Zanes's turn to frown as he put a hand on the prince's shoulder ready to say something else ,only to be stopped before he could even open his mouth.
"You must be Prince Jesse, it's a pleasure to meet you in person. " A silver haired well dressed teen greats Jesse bowing and nods at the sight of Zane.
"Likewise," Jesse says ,"and you must be ?"
The teen chuckled behind his hand, "I'm the co-general of the Domino Kingdom , Aster Phoenix." He introduced himself. Aster turns to Zane ,"And you are Zane Truesdale , general of the Crystal Kingdom ,am I right?"
Zane simply nods .
"A man of few words ,I see." Aster turns to Jesse. "Let's go prince , I'll take you to your chambers." He starts walking towards the castle doors. They get inside ,before Jesse decides to speak again.
"My chambers?" Jesse looks confused, as he follows Aster throught the corridors. "Wait I don't get to meet the prince or the king at least?"
Aster eyes trail to the ground "You see Prince Jesse , the King's health isn't good as of lately, and the prince..."he pauses for a moment ", the prince is not decent at the moment ."
"Decent? What do you mean by decent ?" Jesse asks ,still walking in line with him . Zane a few steps behind, listening closely to the conversation .
"Uhhh..."Aster seemed to think for some second , then something clicked. "...No .No problem Prince Jesse , I think you can meet him now , I'll tell you the way ." He turned on his heels towards a totally different direction.
Jesse does the same and indicates Zane, too.
Aster chuckles "Thought I my say ,prince ,that you are very lucky. "
"Oh ,how come you say that? " Jesse asks looking at Aster.
Aster shrugs " This may be a surprise ,but all of the women, and quite a few men have a crush on Prince Jaden, except for me I'm like his brother."
Zanes's voice comes from behind them "All of them?! That's not even possib-"
"All of them ."Aster cuts him off , for the second time that day.
Jesse shifts uncomfortably, " Aster what else can you tell us about the prince? "
Aster stare goes straight ahead. "Well ,there's not an exact way to describe the prince ." His gaze doesn't go away ," Thought there's one thing that I can fact .He changed. Younger he was so joyful , full of life, but a year after he went missing, he came back a totally different person." His face changes in a moment ,"Prince Jesse ,we are here. " He nods at the door before them.
Jesse looks at the majestic doors in front of them.
Aster slightly opens the one of the doors, and smirking says, "Your highness, Prince Jesse, of the Crystal Kingdom has arrived to meet you."
Jesse shifts nervously on his feet . Thinking as he was about to meet his future husband.
A voice came from inside "Please tell the prince ..." it pauses, then continues ,"- that I have no interest in meeting him."
Jesse's face went blank ,the same goes for Zane , eyes widened.
Aster panicked and quickly adds "Please , my Prince, reconsider -!"
"Pshhh...reconsider....Just like when the council 'reconsidered', me marrying a man I never met. Shut it Aster ,I know that a idea like this would never come by itself to father," a growl was heard. " As for the prince it doesn't make a change if we meet now , or on our wedding night," Jesse's eyes were blank, a mix of emotions run through him, " is of no importance to me." At that Jesse's mouth fell open.
*OF NO IMPORTANCE! *Jesse thought angrily, hands clenched into fists by his sides, emerald eyes glaring at the door, *How dare he !?*
