Part 8

Jaden walked through the castle halls, to the dinner room .His steps were secured and deadly quiet , his face expressionless as of nothing had happened just a few moments before . Thought he felt a little bad, maybe more , at remembering he deep hurt flashing across the other prince's face .

'His fault, asked for it himself, I just did what he wanted me to do.' Jaden thought to himself, as he neared the corner.

"You think they did it   ?" Jaden heard voices come out from the corner.

"Most likely , they slept together , didn't they?" Maids , definitely maids . Jaden thought, not taking  anymore steps forward  , listening closely to their conversation .

"Yeah , was there myself when Clara took the new prince to His Highness' room , she said that prince Jaden ordered that himself ." The first maid, who spoke the first time,  said lowly for only the other to hear . Unfortunately for them Jaden had a pretty good hearing, and understood every single word.

The second maid chuckles lightly , "He must have left a pretty good impression in our prince if he ordered to get him in his bed that fast, " she whispers back " that , or he threw himself at Prince Jaden, eagerly spreading his legs . "

The first maid smirks ,or that's what Jaden thought at her tone of voice as she spoke again ,"Think he will give me a night ? I've had a long time since I had a man in my bed , why not a prince? He co-" the maid stopped quickly as Jaden stepped off the corner, his chocolate brown orbs clearly showing his anger.

He walked closer to the maids . They didn't move and bowed ,it showed no respect if they left, so they were trapped there. "Your M-Majesty. "

Jaden smirked and walked up to the blonde maid , noting that she was the last one to speak. With every step he took near her ,she took a step back , fear shown in her eyes as her back touched the wall and Jaden was mere inches away from touching her body with his  .

Jaden raised his hand and touches her blonde curls , swirling them with his finger, as he looks directly in her boring brown eyes, "So...you wanted a prince in your bed?"

The maid looks away in fear, pressing more against the wall, "You misunderstand my pri-"

"Shut it !" Jaden growls glaring at them as he pulls away from the maid " I heard everything what you two said!"

"Your highness please -"

"I said shut it." Jaden growls dangerously, his fists clenching by his sides . "Had you been males ,you would have been killed in the second I raised a finger... Thought there is a better punishment for females like you. "

The maids looking up at him in horror, as Jaden gets their chins up .

"With the war going on you know for what females are used for, don't you ? If you don't I could always remind you ." Jaden gives a sadistic smile , clearly not suited for him , but one which gave it's full effect in a second." You know the term pleasure slave...The fate of a pleasure slave is worse than dieing. " He let's go of their chins , pushing their heads to the sides. "If it comes that I hear another rumor about Prince Jesse, you will be the first my mind will go to , and I will make sure that your next master, won't be way near my courtesy. "  He growls , making the maids tremble in pure fear.

Jaden scowls , looking down at them with disgust in his eyes , "Get out of my sight and keep in mind what I said! "

The maids quickly nodded, and left practice your running.

Jaden glares at their retreating backs, as he starts walking again towards the dinner room , meeting someone along the way there.

~~~~With Jesse ~~~~

Jesse rubbed his eyes painfully hard in front of the bathroom mirror. He really shouldn't be this weak, should he? To cry every time the other prince said something to hurt him . He should be strong, for his people  , for his kingdom, for everyone that believes in him.

Still it hurt ,and somehow the pain in his chest just grew in size everytime he thought of what Jaden said. 'The bearer of his heirs ?'  Another sob escaped Jesse, they were soon to be married, and Jaden was already thinking of going with another woman , of being with her.

Did Jaden think that low of him ? Did he think that low as to think that this decision of his wouldn't interest Jesse in anyway?  Wouldn't hurt him at all? How could he-

"Prince Jesse?" A voice came from the door of the bedroom.

"Y-Yes Clara?" Jesse spoke in the best normal voice he could, in the emotional mess he was  at the moment . Quickly working to make himself look presentable.

"The breakfast is ready,  the King has requested your presence,  Prince Jesse. " Clara explains ,not making a move to come in . A decision of hers that Jesse was too thankful for.

"I will be out in a minute. " Jesse says making the final adjustments . And glad that his voice came out more normal.

"I will be waiting here then , prince Jesse ." Clara's reply came in that always collected voice, even for being the youngest maid of the castle.

Jesse takes a deep breath and walks to the door, hoping that at least the rest of the day he won't need to see the other prince.
