Part 13

Jesse sighed as the maids gave the final touches to his wedding costume ,  thought some touches weren't that innocent,  but he choose to let it go anyway,  it may be just his imagination.

Otherwise , he was really thankful to Jaden for not making him wear a wedding dress.  Now that would be humiliating. Having to walking to the altar in a wedding dress in front of nearly all the kingdom,  would have been a death sentence for Jesse , he was sure he would have died of embarrassment any moment then.

Jesse's outfit (where it's black, it's royal blue. )

Jesse looked at himself in the three-way mirror . His eyes were there but his mind wondered back to hours before , when he and Jaden got the news about the wedding , and about ...Jaden's brother being there too. Jesse sighed once more , wondering what really happened between them. He knew that it wasn't his place to pry , but he couldn't help his curiosity . 

He was lost in his thoughts ,as the maids finished their work and were ready to leave. He got out of his mind only when he heard a light chuckle at the door. The maids stopped , and bowed . Jesse noticed that and turned around seeing Jaden leaning against the door smirking at him, ready in his black costume, with a white cape.

Jesse smiled back at him and nodded in greeting, as Jaden walked near him and kissed his cheek. "You look handsome, kitten."

The maids gasped , eyes wide in shock seeing their prince so affectionate with someone he only met the day before.

Jesse blushed madly , looking down. "I-I could say the same about you, m-my King." By the end of the sentence , stream was flowing out of Jesse's ears , as the maids' eyes were fixated in him.

Jaden noticed Jesse's nervousness , as he looked over at the maids , glaring , but not too hard on them , they were his people after all , although they needed to know when their prince wanted privacy. "Leave." He ordered in an emotionless tone. 

The maids quickly nodded again and bowed , leaving the room and closing the door behind them.

Jaden turned back to Jesse and pecked his lips , pulling back. "I'm sorry that things are going this way. I know it's difficult to marry an mere stranger."

Jesse blushes and smiles at his words. "It's ok , we are doing this for the best of our kingdoms. I understand." Jesse says placing one hand on Jaden's shoulder , rubbing soothingly. 

Jaden sighs looking at him in the eyes. "I have  something for you." He says slipping one hand in his pocket .

Jesse tilts his head looking at him curiously , as Jaden opens his palm to reveal a beautifully craved silver ring , with an emerald at the center. An engagement ring.

"I know  it's not much but ..." Jaden takes Jesse's left hand , slipping the ring on his finger , and bringing his hand up and laying a kiss on it. Then look back at Jesse.."I didn't want to leave without giving you this ."

Jesse blushes then frowns , keeping Jaden's hand in his. "Leave?"

"Ah...Forgot that you didn't know." Jaden rubs his fingers around the soft skin of Jesse's hand ."I will be leaving tomorrow morning."

"Th-that fast?" Jesse stutters , trying to contain his tears , but failing miserably.

Jaden reaches and cups Jesse's cheek with his hand , wiping away his tears with his thumb. "I'm sorry , Kitten.  But I'm needed there."

"What about here?! What about me?! " Jesse moves away from his touch , placing one hand over his chest. "Don't I need you here?  Don't I deserve at least a day?" He knew that he was being selfish, but right now he didn't care.

"Kitten-"

"Don't 'kitten' me !!" Jesse cries . His heart aching painfully.  "J-just, ..just leave. "

Jaden growls and doesn't make a move to leave. He places both of his hands on Jesse's cheeks. "Listen."

"No ! Don't want t- mmmpf" Jesse was stopped from speaking,  since Jaden quickly kissed  him ,his hands still on either side of Jesse's head , his lips moving against Jesse's slowly and sweetly.

Jesse cried,  but even with the greatest temptation to return the kiss he pushed Jaden away. "Please." He pleaded,  eyes puffy and cheeks red looking at Jaden.

Jaden stayed for some moments, his eyes searching in Jesse's green orbs , before he let go and stepped back. His eyes cold. "As you wish ." Those were his final words before he left Jesse alone in the room, opening the door and closing it after him.

Why -? Why I'm acting like this , it's not his fault! He even thought about me and gave me a ring for what we couldn't do ! No I'm not leaving him ! Jesse thought staying for some mins to calm himself , then got up and quickly and ran to the door , opening it and running in the direction that Jaden had left.

He sees his back and smiles , raising one hand to his mouth to call out to him , but stops seeing two figures in front of Jaden. He slowly walks near to them , not wanting to intrude in any important conversation or discussion. 

Jesse hears Jaden says something in a menacing voice surprising him ,  but the thing that he heard one of the figures say next shocked him the most, as he placed one hand over his mouth to hide his gasp.

"Aww why Jay-chan ? Is that a way to greet your lover?"

{ OK EVERYONE, I'M GOING TO GET A QUICK EXPLANATION.  I HAD THIS CHAPTER NEARLY DONE BEFORE I GOT THE NEWS FOR GRANDPA YESTERDAY   AAAAND. .. *takes a deep breath *

GRANDPA IS WAY BETTER!!!! ! *yells happy * 

THE UPDATES MAY STILL BE SLOW AS I HAVE STILL TO DO THE FINALS AND TO STUDY FOR THEM  , BUT I WILL UPDATE AS SOON AS I CAN !!!
