Uncle Liu finally took Toey and Kong to visit Pang who is unconscious in the lab. Both of the young man was amazed by the futuristic lab design and doesn't believe if there is a place like this on the earth, just like they used to saw in video games.

"Who's built this place?" asked Kong.

"Your father of course."

"It can't be!" Kong doesn't believe it.

"Well, it's designed by Prof. Pitrachat..."

"Really?" Toey raised his eyebrow and doubt that. "My uncle is a doctor and scientist, but I don't think so he's good at designed, he lack of artistic sense."

"Then what are you doing?" asked Kong to the old man.

"I..." uncle Liu paused for a moment. "I just maintenance it..."

"Don't you hear, actually maintenance rather difficult than make it..." said Toey. "Because you got to know everything in details, or everything will be outdate as times goes by and damaged if you don't know how to take good care of it."

"I just follow the old maintenance procedure." Answer uncle Liu and sighed. "I don't know how long this place will stand, if someday I was forced to shut it down, then I'll do it!"

"Because it's illegal?"

"Because it kept the secret that must be protected!"

"What secret?"

Uncle Liu took them to the lab where the cryonic serum was developed.

There, they can see some of scientist internships are working on experiment to a serum, and on the other side of the room, they saw a capsule-like glass bed where Pang is lying.

Toey and Kong shortly forgot about their previous question, and shortly dash toward to in front of Pang's capsule and touched the glass barrier.

"What did you do to him?" asked Toey while glared at uncle Liu.

"We didn't!" replied uncle Liu. "We found him in that condition!"

"How?"

"I don't know what happened in the cave, and how Pang injected with the serum, but I was sure the serum was carried by Pitrachat."

"You mean...my uncle carried the serum for a purposed?" asked Toey again.

"Once you be injected by it, the blood cells and tissue inside your body will be freeze in any minutes, and turned you to an iceman, I don't know what the purpose of Pitrachat carried it to the excavation site..."

Toey and Kong exchange the glance and surprised.

"How does it work?" asked Kong.

"This serum contains active ingredients that react to nitrogen contained in the air, the higher the nitrogen level, the faster the freezing process."

Toey thought for a moment and asked. "Can the process be reversed? Why don't you just let him out and let the ice melt, then move it to a regular patient room, and let the doctor handle it?"
