Prologue 07: Rewired Part 04.

"What happened to me?" Chloe asked. "You were paralyzed in your own home," Wilbur answered. "Your husband of course brought you here, and requested we place your two functioning organs into an android clone of yourself."

The nurse returned with the cryogenic tank, and then pulled out a tube. "How did I end of this way?" Chloe asked. "Well you see, we used surgery to remove the two living organs in your body, and implanted them into an android based skeleton," Wilbur answered. "Those organs are your heart, and your brain. Then after taking a piece of your hair, we copied the DNA into the android making it look like your human form."

"But where's my original body?" Chloe asked. "Your original body is right next to you, but to keep it alive, we're going to have to freeze it until we can invent something to make it functional again," Wilbur answered. After attaching the tube to the nozzle, the nurse took Chloe's body, and placed it into the capsule.

"Well, here are your clothes, Mrs. Parks," Wilbur said. "I'm sure you'll understand why your husband brought you here." "Why?" Chloe asked. "It was because he didn't want to leave you, so to save your life, he requested that we put you in this state to save you from dying," Wilbur answered. "I'm sure he'll be relieved that your okay." As Chloe placed her clothing back on, she followed the doctor out of the surgery laboratory, where Victor was waiting. "Oh thank god," Victor said as he hugged his wife. "I thought I lost you for good back there."

"Mr. Samuel, we assure you, your wife is fine," Wilbur explained. "Thank you for all you've done," Chloe said. "I'm not sure what paralyzed me, but I'm glad you came through to save me from dying." "You're my wife, Chloe," Victor explained. "If there's one thing I couldn't stand, it was not having you with me. This was the only other option for me to keep you alive. I love you." "I love you too, Victor," Chloe said. "Thank you for everything you've done for our family." "You're welcome," Victor explained. "I knew I would be the perfect husband for you, and I promised not to let you down, when I had the money." "Come on, let's go home," Chloe said. After Victor paid for the medical bill, he and his wife walked out to the car.

"So, how are you feeling, honey?" Victor asked. "Well this new vision is still odd, but I'll grow into it," Chloe answered. "Not sure what our kids will think of this, though." "I'll tell them when they least expect what did this to you," Victor explained. "After all, we're not sure what kind of computer virus caused you to get paralyzed, but I'll look into it, and find out. No one messes with a tech agents family, and gets away with it. For your sake, I will find out who did this." "Thank you, Victor," Chloe said. "That means a lot." Finally after placing the key in the ignition, the couple left the hospital.
