That night after school, Clay took another shower and got himself ready to go to the Roadrunner Saloon for his date with Penny. Getting cleaned was the first step, the second step was finding something to wear.
Clay's outfit of choice was a red buttoned shirt, a black vest, blue jeans, brown cowboy boots, and a white ten gallon hat. After Clay got his outfit on, his Mom came into his room to check up on him. "Oh Clayton, what's with the western outfit?" Chloe asked. "I'm going on a date, Ma," Clay answered. "I just asked a girl out this noon, and we're going to the Roadrunner Saloon tonight. So, I'll probably miss dinner on top of that."
"A date?" Chloe gasped. "My little boy is growing up." "Ma, you know I'm not little anymore," Clay said. Chloe just laughed, and extended her arms to hug her son. "No matter what age you are, you're still little to me," Chloe said. "Thanks great Ma, but could you stop hugging me," Clay said. "You're limbs are starting to dislocate my spine with how much strength you've gain."
Chloe let go of her son, having him get back up, and fix his own spine. "Sorry, Clayton," Chloe said. "I'm just so happy that you're actually dating someone who isn't a car. Just brings so many tears of joy in my eyes, I think I might short out soon." Clay got out some tissues from his bedroom bathroom, and gave it to his mother. (Little fact just for a minute. Every mansion bedroom has a bathroom in it. You can get why everyone wants one, because they have more rooms than a freaking apartment.)
"Thank you, Clayton," Chloe said. "I'm still trying to get use to being an android." "Well next time try not to use to much strength to hug me," Clay said. "My spine almost broke." Walter came into the room, after Chloe started wiping her eyes. "What in the name of the west is going on in here?" Walter asked. "I just heard struggling from the other side of the house." "Clay has a date tonight, which is raising my censors with happiness," Chloe said. "Well well well, looks like somebodies getting past puberty," Walter said. "Who else knows about this?" "I just told Ricky, and Vic before I explained it to Ma," Clay explained. "We're going to the Roadrunner Saloon for our date."
"Good choice," Chloe said. "That's one of the first two places I went with your stepfather when we started dating." "Yeah, plus it's the first place me and your grandma first met," Walter said. "The Roadrunner Saloon holds family, boy." "Well I better get going," Clay said. "I don't want to keep my date waiting." After grabbing his keys and wallet from the nightstand, Clay got went to the garage, took one of the cars from the garage, and drove from the drive way, into the streets to where Penny would be. "I just know my boy is going to do well," Chloe said. "He'll do well, Chloe," Walter said. "Just let him do it right though."
