Chapter 31: Ready For The Pier.

Clay got ready for his date with Penny, by putting his outfit together, as well as grabbing the eye patch from his stepfathers pirate costume, and putting it on over his left eye so Penny wouldn't see his face.

Afterwards, Clay headed back down to the lab, and grabbed his keys, while also getting back in the car. After finally driving out of the lab, Clay made his way towards Penny's house, where his date was standing outside of her own house, wearing a purple sleeveless dress with a black belt, and brown boots. After noticing Clay, Penny got in with him, and they both headed towards the Las Vegas Pier for their date.

"Thanks for remembering to pick me up," Penny said. "But what's with the eye patch?" "I was helping my Ma with the dishes, and one of the glass cups fell off of the shelves, and the shards fell on where my eye is," Clay lied. "So, how do we get to the pier from here?" "I know where it is," Penny explained. "Just head south where the ocean is."

Clay listened to his girlfriend's instructions, and drove to where the amusement pier was. After getting out of the car, Clay, and Penny headed towards the ticket booth to get in. Clay gave the money to the ticket salesman, and he offered two tickets allowing them both in. "Well now that we're here, where do you want to spend time at first?" Clay asked. "Well I guess we could go on three rides, and play a couple of games," Penny answered. "The ticket salesman only gave us three ticket rides, so we'll have to save those for later." "Sounds like a plan," Clay agreed.

Clay, and Penny spent half of their time at the pier on winning carnival games. The following games of which are the test your strength game, the cup stack knock down game, and the duck shooting game. (It's not "Duck Hunt". It's the game at the carnival where you shoot water at cardboard cutouts of ducks with targets on them.) After winning all three games, the couple then took rides on the roller coaster, the Ferris wheel, and a pendulum ride. Once the couple were done, they headed back to the car, to eat the food they got from the pier food court. "It's a good thing we lucked out from getting hungry after walking all over the pier," Penny said. "Yeah, we lucked out more than we should've," Clay agreed.

After Clay, and Penny reentered the car, they finished drinking their cups of Coke, and finished their food. "That was some mighty fine, walk around a theme park," Clay said. "Even though it was my first one." "I'm glad you had fun, Clay," Penny explained. "So, before we head home, do you want to end this date the same way we ended our last one?" "That depends, did you remember to get some condoms?" Clay asked. Penny pulled out three packets of condoms from her purse, after Clay asked. "I always come prepared," Penny answered. "I'll get to stripping then," Clay said. "But I'm keeping the eye patch on."
