Chapter 28: From Bad To Worse.

Clay returned to the mansion, and re-entered through the inside of the fountains elevator, and down into his stepfather's underground lab. After parking, Clay and Ricky got out of the car, and met up with Victor who was already waiting for them.

"Glad you boys could come," Victor said. "So, what's this about, Vic?" Clay asked. "I just got some a call from the Las Vegas Community Correctional Center," Victor answered. "They said something about robot guards from Cyber Tech coming in, and kidnapping all the prisoners in the building, also proclaiming that I was responsible for the robots capture, and their threatening on sending me to jail."

"You think that Nemesis guy is up to this?" Clay asked. "He must have," Victor answered. "But what would Nemesis want with escaped prison convicts?" Ricky asked. "Easy, to build more robots, and have them work for him," Victor answered. "After all, he has the inventions he took from my company, and those are his tickets to world domination."

"Well we're f***ed," Clay said. "I guess we'll have to round up any remaining humans that escape from these robot freaks, and have them live down here, if we're turning this bunker into a hotel." "I wouldn't count on giving up just yet, Clayton," Victor explained. "After all, I'm working on giving someone else bionic powers, so you won't be alone in this." "What about that gunslinger guy that saved us from Nemesis?" Clay asked. "Won't be any help," Victor answered. "From what I heard, he's heading back to his home in New York."

"Wait, there was a gunslinger helping you guys?" Ricky asked. "Well yeah, he helped us escape from the building that the robots were taking over," Clay answered. "He mentioned something about an alien invasion from 2019, and then explained something about a heroic teenager group called Teen Freak Team. Not sure what they're about, but let's hope they did the right thing back then." "Well from what I heard, they stopped an alien terrorist on the moon, so I'm sure you could find your place with them, once we get our inventions back, and save the city," Victor explained. "Plus, the inventions I created aren't the only things we need back. They also kidnapped Daisy."

"I promise to get here back anyway I can," Clay said. "But I don't think my bionic powers, and one weapon key that can summon a chainsaw are going to be enough to stop Nemesis." "I was hoping you would say that," Victor explained. "That's why while you were gone, I created three more weapon keys for you to try out. I think you'll like them even better than the chainsaw one, but like I mentioned last time, you'll need to test them in training, before you can actually use them in real life." "Well let's make this quick," Clay said. "I already promised Penny that we'd go on another date later tonight."
