The next day, Clay woke up in a bionic generating capsule, which would help keep his bionic powers. Seeing that Clay had to sleep in the bunker lab now, Ricky stayed up all night painting the car the way his friend described.

As an alarm clock went off, Clay woke up, and stepped out of the capsule. Victor came into the lab, just after Clay woke up. "Morning, Clayton," Victor explained. "Sleep well?" "Not exactly,"  Clay explained. "Besides from sleeping vertically for the first time, leaning up against the glass is starting to give me back pain. It's like sleeping on a bed full of thumb tacks, and push pins." Clay took off his night hat after stepping out of the capsule he walked out of.

"Well sorry, I didn't draw the blueprints for a horizontal capsule, because I was too busy building your second surprise," Victor said. "But first, put this on." Victor pulled out a black jumpsuit for Clay to wear, which he did, after stripping out of everything, except his underwear. Once the jumpsuit was on, Victor got out the wrist watch.

"What's this, some kind of wrist watch?" Clay asked. "Just put it on," Victor answered. "I'll answer your questions later." Clay did as his stepfather instructed, and placed the device on his arm. "Now just hold still," Victor explained. "I have a couple more things you need to put on. These red boots to control your bionic speed, these black gloves to control your super strength, this red helmet, with black stripes to control your telekinesis, and finally this chest armor with a tire going diagonally across it."

"And the tire has a red stripe," Clay said. "Why are you giving me this stuff again?" "Because next time those robots appear, you'll need to learn how to fight them so you don't get injured again," Victor explained. "You just lost one of your eyes, and that robot that attacked you broke every bone in your arms. You're lucky I got you metallic replacements to have you hold the steering wheel again." Clay placed the chest armor on, after putting on the gloves, and boots. "So all I have to do is wear this dope outfit, and to stop these robot freaks before they turn Las Vegas into the worlds biggest burial ground?" Clay asked. "Exactly," Victor answered. "But you must use this suit only when they appear in an emergency."

Once everything was on, Clay placed the helmet on to cover up his robotic eye. "Well, armor or no armor, I still think an eye patch would be a better use of keeping myself hidden," Clay said. "At least to keep up with my date nights." "You can wear an eye patch all you want, but this armor is for combat, and vehicle purposes only," Victor explained. "What do you mean by vehicle purposes?" Clay asked. "I suddenly feel like you're turning me into a car." "Just pull out the weapon key I gave you, and install it into the device on your wrist," Victor answered. "I'm sure you'll be impressed with the design."
