After the family ate dinner, Chloe got the cake out, and placed 16 candles on it due to how old Clay was going to be. Finally after the candles were lightened, Clay saw that the frosting was black and white racing flag patterned, and was written "racing champ to be".
"Okay Clayton," Chloe said. "Just blow into the candles and wish for anything you want." Clay blew out the candles, but didn't have a wish to make. Finally once the candles were blown out, Chloe cut the cake and gave everyone a piece. "Jeez, this is one kill joy of a birthday party," Ricky said. "Well, I just lost my sister after we escaped from robots," Clay explained.
"I don't think the family will bel the same without her," Chloe said. "We'll get her back one day," Victor explained. "Until then, we need to keep away from the facility we escaped from, and try and get the inventions they took from us back." "Well in the meantime we'll need to work on that new car," Ricky said. "Painting it, and getting it ready for the tournament."
That night after cake, Clay, and Ricky headed back to the underground bunker where Clay revealed the Battle Car. "So, what do you think?" Clay asked. "Looks better than the one you drive at school," Ricky answered. "But how it gonna help you in the tournament?" "I have a little trick up my sleeve," Clay explained. "But you'll need to take some steps back for me to show you." "If you say so," Ricky said, and stepped back. Finally after getting in the car, Clay used the Weapon Key, and revealed the cars weapon system. "Jesus H Christ," Ricky yelled. "This car has blades."
"Hell yeah they do," Clay said. "My stepdad made it possible for me to win the tournament. Now all we have to do is paint this bitch, and have it ready for the judge to see." "Well he's coming tomorrow, so what color should we paint it?" Ricky asked. "The winning color of course," Clay answered. "Red with two vertical black stripes running down it." "Great, I'll have it done by the end of the night," Ricky said. "Be sure not to scratch it," Clay explained. "I don't want my stepdad to be pissed at me." Suddenly Clay's phone buzzed, revealing that Penny was calling him. "Yello?" Clay said. "Hey Clay, I just wanted to say happy birthday to you," Penny said. "Sorry that I couldn't arrive at your party. I was busy with my blog."
"It's fine, Penn," Clay said. "Anyway I've been at my stepdad's facility, and got a car that'll help me in the tournament. Ricky is painting it right now." "Oh well, I sure hope you get in," Penny said. "Perhaps after the audition, could we by any chance want to have another date at the Roadrunner Saloon?" "Sounds good to me," Clay explained. "I'll see you at 7:00 P.M." After Penny hung up, Clay then went over to Ricky who was still painting the car. "Rick, remind me to find an eyepatch once you're done painting this bitch," Clay said. "Why?" Ricky asked. "Penny asked me out on another date, and if she sees me like this, she'll flip," Clay answered.
