Mr. Leonard explained where to go, by announcing directions like he said he would. After passing a couple of intersections, and obeying traffic laws, Clay finally brought his vehicle to the Vegas sports center. Built by Cyber Tech industries months before this.

"So my stepdad sold his sports center to you?" Clay asked. "Didn't think he was into sports." "Cyber Tech industries is one of the biggest scientific companies in Vegas," Leonard explained. "And even though Victor Samuel's didn't enjoy sports himself, at least the stepson of the woman he married will enjoy it. After all, racing is the only sport you have talent for." "He's got you there, Clay," Ricky agreed.

Mr. Leonard picked up his phone, and contacted one of his employee. "Let us in," Leonard said. "We have a challenger willing to make it to the big time in this tournament." As the doors of the sports center opened, Clay drove up to where the parking storage was, and stopped the car, before he could follow Mr. Leonard out.

After stepping out of the car, Clay noticed that Penny was already there. "Mr. Leonard," Penny said. "I was looking for you, and I needed to know if this obstacle course actually going to be in the tournament?" "It's nothing like a race track, Mrs. Walker," Leonard explained. "It's simply just a bunch of cars fighting like gladiators of ancient Greece. Only it's more robotic then usual." "Wait, Penny what are you doing here?" Ricky asked. "She's the announcer, Ricky," Clay answered. "Haven't you've been paying attention at school?"

"So I see you, and Mrs. Walker have already met," Leonard said. "We're dating each other," Clay explained. "It's complicated." "Actually, I think you'd be a perfect match," Leonard said. "After all, you are a racer, and she is a blog owner that appreciates racing, so you both share your ways of racing very well." "You don't think that a racer, dating one of the tournament employees is against the rules?" Clay asked. "Not at all," Leonard answered. "I'm not the kind of person that rejects racers to date my employees. I might lose my business license because of that." "I see, so when do we get to see this obstacle course I get to race around?" Clay asked. "You can see it right now," Leonard answered.

After opening the curtains, Mr. Leonard revealed that the obstacle course did in fact had a flaming hoop, and a bus jumping set of ramps. It also had a tight rope over a shark tank, a cylinder tunnel, and a platform labeled finish. "F*** the school race track," Clay said. "I'm using this for my time challenges. That is if you'd let me, Mr. Leonard." "You aren't even terrified that those obstacles could kill you?" Ricky asked. "Ricky, my stepdad gave me a car that can survive anything, and destroy anything," Clay answered. "Once I use it on this obstacle course, I will be in the tournament, and I'll mop the floor with the other challengers that signed up."
