Chapter 35: Fast Til The Finish. Part 01.

Clay spent the rest of the month, finishing up school, and testing out more and more weapon keys that his stepfather has been working on. During the time, Clay has also obtained new bionic powers, all while still dating his girlfriend Penny.

Finally after June finally arrived, and the first day of the NASCAR battle tournament has finally started. Clay woke up that morning, and used the self bather to get cleaned up. Once his bath was done, Clay got out of his capsule, and got his clothes on along with his key pager. Once Clay was ready, he headed downstairs to where his mother was preparing breakfast. "Good morning, Clayton," Chloe said. "I'm making flapjacks for breakfast. Here's your plate."

"Thanks, Ma," Clay said, and grabbed his plate, before he sat down at the table, and placed butter and syrup on it. "I hope you're excited to participate in the tournament today," Chloe said. "We'll be watching you try to win at home, once they start showing you take down the other competitors participating."

"I'll be sure to take them out, Ma," Clay said. "So, where's Vic?" "He's in the lab still," Chloe explained. "I'm not sure why, but he's been down there all night after sleeping with me for half an hour." "I'll go check on him, once I'm done eating," Clay said. "Let's hope it's something important." After Clay finished breakfast, he headed towards the lab, where his stepfather was checking on all of the security cameras that survived the destruction of Cyber Tech Industries when Nemesis started attacking, and stealing.

"Uh, Vic," Clay said. "Why have you've been up all night?" "I've been distracted in getting the industry building back," Victor explained. "So I've been keeping on eye on the robots, and I figured out what they're doing with the prisoners they kidnapped." "How did you figure that out?" Clay asked. "Those robots destroyed all of the security cameras before we escaped." "Not the ones in the surgery room," Victor answered. "Remember when your mother got paralyzed, and the doctors had her organs placed into an android's body?" "Yeah," Clay answered. "Well Nemesis is doing surgery on the prisoners to add new, and powerful robots to his army," Victor explained. "And he's using the memory eraser, and mind control headphones to help with that."

"Why did you even invent those kinds of things?" Clay asked. "They were to help with parents who don't have obedient children, and wanted to forget their embarrassing moments in life," Victor answered. "Science is complicated." "Well, I'm off to the stadium," Clay said. "I'll see you once my first round is over." Clay inserted the saw key into his weapon pager, and changed into his battle suit, before heading off to his car. "I can never be too careful, once it comes to driving," Clay said. "Anyway, be sure to see me on TV if you get the chance." "I will," Victor explained. Finally Clay got in his car, and drove off.
