Kaitlyn's P.O.V.
Kaitlyn wasn't sure why Skylar was with Alex at the park, she didn't understand why Skylar wasn't listening to Lucas or her, and she certainly still wasn't comfortable with Alex. Glancing over at a half-asleep Skylar in the passenger seat, slumped against her restraining seat-belt, she continued to drive, letting out a sigh.
She knew that there was no way she could drop Sky off at Lucas's house. Not only would Kaitlyn make a fool out of herself as she stumbled over her words to talk to him, Lucas would also have a fit over the whole thing. Skylar would never forgive her if she did anything to hurt her and Lucas's relationship.
Finally, she pulled up to her own house, parking on the curb before pulling the key out of the ignition. Staring at Skylar, she sighed. There was no way she would be able to lift her into the house. Or even drag her. She got out before walking around to Sky's side, opening the door and gently tugging on the hem of her t-shirt. Skylar simply sniffled and shifted slightly. Kaitlyn sighed and started to shake Skylar awake.
"Get up." Kaitlyn whispered into Skylar's ear, shaking her gently.
"But I'm comfy." Skylar mumbled, halfheartedly pushing Kaitlyn away.
"If you don't get up right now, I will tickle you."
"I'm up, I'm up." Skylar quickly undid her seat belt and stumbled out of the car, still half-asleep. Kaitlyn simply laughed and closed the car door behind her, helping a still stumbling Sky into the house.
It didn't take long for the girls to tip-toe into Kaitlyn's room, collapsing on the bed together. Soon, they both fell asleep.

Skylar's P.O.V
In the morning, Skylar smiled softly and opened her eyes, her eyes scanning Kaitlyn's room. A towel was thrown straight at her and Kaitlyn pointed to the bathroom. "Go and have a shower. I'll find some clothes for you and then we can go to school."
Skylar smiled at her friend and got up, taking the towel into the bathroom. Stripping out of her clothes, she left them in a pile on the floor, setting the towel on the counter. Climbing into the shower, she turned on the hot water, sighing blissfully. Her body was slightly sore from sleeping in the car.
Alex.
It kind of felt wrong to be thinking of him in the shower, but she couldn't help but smile like an idiot. It was crazy, but she wondered if she could ever love Alex. She wanted to find his soft spot and be one of the few people who could.
Biting her lip, she thought of the park, how sweet he had been with Grace. She hadn't know he had had a sister. She wondered if he was the only one taking care of her. Such an adorable and kind little girl deserved loving parents.
Where were their parents?
And what about Sky's parents? She panicked at the thought, knowing that they would not be happy that she hadn't come home last night. She already knew that Kaitlyn wouldn't be happy about her hanging out with Alex. Did Alex call Kaitlyn to come and pick her up? Maybe Kaitlyn would be a little more lenient if Alex had. At least he would seem more trust-worthy.
She would be able to talk to him in a little bit, hopefully. Although she knew, that for now, some questions were off limits. Despite that, Skylar showered quickly in hopes that she could see him when she got to school.
Once she was done, she climbed out, wrapping her towel around herself and tucking the loose end in so it would stay. Opening the right top drawer, she pulled out the brush she kept there, running it through her dripping wet hair.
