Hello my lovely readers. Doesn't Skylar (Emily Rudd) look super beautiful when she smiles? Yes? I agree :) Although, a lot of people tend to look their best when they are happy.

I know this is supposed to be the dinner chapter, but I haven't uploaded in awhile and I've been getting quite a few new readers so I wanted to update something. But I promise that the next chapter will be the dinner chapter.
It's not edited.
Anyway, onto the story!

Skylar had insisted on driving, and Alex was still clueless as to where they were going. As they pulled up to a men's clothing store, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and say something after she had parked.

"You're taking me shopping?" He chuckled, and she blushed, shoving his shoulder playfully.

"Don't laugh at me. I know you're worried about what to wear, so we're gonna find you something." She explained, giving him a peck on the lips, which made him smile, before getting out of the car. Alex held the door open for her like a true gentleman, causing a soft blush to come across her face. Immediately his arm was around her, and they were staring at a ton of men's clothes from casual to fancy.

"How fancy do you think I should dress?" He asked, slightly nervous. Clothing wasn't really his area of expertise. Little did he know, it wasn't Skylar's either. However, she did have a good clothing sense, and knew that the process of trial and error was the key.

"Not too fancy. I'm wearing a dress and heels, so we'll definitely put you in a dress shirt and tie.

So, they proceeded to search the racks for something he might like. He ended up liking quite a few things in there, so Skylar grabbed them all and ushered him into a dressing room. As he got changed, she took out her phone, wanting to take pictures of him all dressed up.

He came out in a more casual blue shirt that fit him perfectly, and she grinned, letting out some oohs and aahs. "You look good in that." She told him, and watched as he blushed. Of course when he did that, she took the moment to take a perfect picture.

"Hey! No pictures!" He fussed, trying to take her phone away from him. She sat on it, but that didn't stop him as he proceeded to lift her up and grabbed her phone from the seat.

"Hey!" She complained, crossing her arms once he had set her on her feet. All she got was a kiss, and before she knew it he had retreated into the dressing room with her phone. Plopping back down onto her seat, she waited a while until he came out in a deep red dress shirt. Licking her lips, she looked him up and down. "Damn." She muttered underneath her breath.

He chuckled, giving her a teasing smile. "What was that?"

"Nothing!" She sang and shooed him back into the change room.

The next ensemble he came out in was a white dress shirt and a green plaid tie, and she could tell that he liked it a lot. "What do you think, Sky?"

"You look great in it, Alex. I like that green on you. What do you think?" She inquired, wanting to know why he liked it so much.

"I like it. It feels good." He kept looking at the mirror and it made Skylar wonder whether or not he had worn a plain, white, good-quality dress shirt and a tie ever before.

"Do you have a good pair of jeans that you could wear?" She asked him, glancing at the clock on the wall. They would have to leave fairly soon-ish. He shook his head, so she asked him to go and find a nice pair in his size. After he had tried those on to make sure that they fit, they went to the till, with all three shirts, the green plaid tie, a blue tie (because Skylar really liked it), a black tie that he could use for a lot, and the jeans. As Skylar went for her wallet, Alex put a hand on her shoulder and tried to use his card instead. "No." She told him, and put hers through instead.

He, of course, didn't like the fact that she paid for his clothes, but he knew better than to argue. They could talk about it later.

As they exited the store with their very large bag, it was set in the backseat and they both climbed into the car. Skylar drove again, because she knew the way to Kaitlyn's better. When they arrived, Kaitlyn was just headed out the door, in a very cute summer dress. "Have fun." Skylar called, as her best friend went on her way, and they headed inside the house with their bag. The house was completely empty as Skylar led Alex up to Kaitlyn's bedroom. It had recently been cleaned, which made Sky laugh softly because it was rarely ever clean.

"Okay, so you can go into the bathroom and change, and I'll be in here changing." She told him, and handed him his green tie and white shirt. He looked like he was about to say something, but he simply turned around and went into the bathroom. While he got changed, Skylar looked through Kaitlyn's clothes, finding a dress that was the same shade of green as one of the main greens in his tie before she set some black pumps beside her purse. Unzipping the back, she climbed into it, until she was covered. Just as she was about to do it up herself, she felt Alex's hand skim her back, causing her to hold her breath a little. She could swear he could feel her heart pounding, and feel the heat spread across her skin with him seeing the back of her rather sexy underwear. He pushed her hair to the side, grabbed the zipper and slowly zipped the back of her dress up, planting a kiss on her neck before he turned her around.

"You look beautiful." He murmured, standing so close she didn't know what to do with herself.

Without even thinking, she blurted, "you do too." Immediately her face turned an interesting shade of red.

"Thanks." He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist, trapping her. Instead of facing him, she hid her face against his chest, hoping that it would stop being cherry red fairly soon. Alex rested his head on top of hers and closed his eyes, holding her. "We should probably go pretty soon." He murmured after a minute.

"Mmhm." She responded, very comfortable. All of a sudden, she was thrown over his shoulder and carried downstairs, and unceremoniously dropped on the couch. "Why did y-" She began, only to be silenced by a kiss.

"Because I didn't want to do that on your best friend's bed." He whispered, a smirk on his face as he kissed her again.

The girly-est giggle ever escaped her lips before she playfully shoved him off. "Her whole family sits on this couch!" She scolded, getting up and straightening out her dress before she was pushed up against the wall and he started kissing her neck again. "Alex." She complained, but couldn't help but shiver pleasantly at what he was thinking in his head. "Stop, please."

He pulled back, pouting. "It's not my fault you are wearing such sexy underwear under your dress." He grumbled and stomped up the stairs. A minute later he came down with her purse and her shoes, and set them by the door. "What shall we do then until we have to leave?" He asked, grabbing her hand gently, playing with her fingers. Skylar pulled him down so he was laying on the couch, and laid in front of him, getting comfortable. She then turned the tv on and relaxed.
