Your eyes catch sight of two men walking through the doors of the local diner that you worked at part time as a waitress. You quickly recognize both of them, especially the slightly taller one.
You had met the Winchesters a few weeks ago when they came into town disguised as FBI agents to investigate strange haunting occurrences that had been happening frequently around the small town you call home.
You never considered yourself a curious person, but you thought that it seemed weird that the FBI was looking into such an abnormal case. So one night after your shift had ended you followed them once you had accidentally spotted them in the distance outside of a house near the diner.
It was then that you had learned about what really goes bump in the night after Sam had rescued you from a ghost. You couldn't believe that the supernatural was real, but while being absolutely terrified you couldn't ignore the exciting adrenaline rush that the job brought.
You walk over to the table that the brothers had chosen to sit at and you greet them with a lighthearted question.
"Wow I didn't think that the job requires working on the weekend too?"
"Darlin' believe me, we don't ever get a break," Dean muses.
"Well no one said it would be easy I guess," you reply with a smile as you then turn your head to look at Sam to see him sweetly smile back at you.
"It's nice to see you again (Y/N), it's been a while," Sam says to you.
Before you can reply Dean says in a teasing tone, "It's only been a few weeks Sammy boy."
You then awkwardly notice Sam kick Dean under the table in annoyance.
"I'll go grab you boys some coffee I'll be right back," you say as you turn away from their table trying to keep the blush in your cheeks hidden.
As you pour coffee into two mugs you try to make out some of their conversation since the diner was so small. Sam was obviously mad at Dean, but as soon as he met your wondering eyes he gives you the sweetest awkward smile and wave.
You note to yourself how unbelievably adorable Sam is and that maybe you should ask them if you could occupy them on a hunt if that's why they're in town. Perhaps it would let you get to know them better, especially Sammy boy as Dean had called him.
