The last thing you remember is a vision of Castiel's fingers pressing against your forehead causing you to temporarily lose consciousness. You're now awake and sitting in a chair with your hands tied behind your back along with your ankles tied to the front legs of the chair.
"Ugh! Castiel?! I swear when he comes around I'm gonna..."
"Hopefully listen closely and follow directions," Castiel says finishing your sentence for you.
"Alright Cas, time to cut it out with the games untie me."
"No I can't. I apologize for the inconvenience, but these are orders from Zachariah. Just so you understand...why I can't help."
"What does he want from me?" You ask him with a confused expression.
"You're very close to the Winchesters and he needs information." Cas states bluntly.
Your throat suddenly feels dry and your heart rate speeds up as you begin tugging and straining against the bindings holding you to the chair. You knew enough about angels to know that being interrogated by one would not be pleasant. You had to get out of here if you were to keep your loyalty to the Winchesters, who are like brothers to you.
"Castiel...I know you. Don't let him do this you know that searching a human mind is risky! I know that you don't want to hurt me. Castiel...please...please."
"You know nothing (Y/N)." Castiel says with his gaze avoiding your own.
"I know that you care for me for some reason, because you came when I called out to you that one time when I was in trouble. I hadn't even met you yet. I had only heard Sam and Dean mention your name, and you still came to save me."
Castiel held the same stoic demeanor he had ever since he arrived, except now his eyes look different when they meet yours. They seem to be full of empathy and warm admiration.
"Let me go and we'll work this out. You can tell Zachariah that I escaped using the banishing sigil."
"You do not realize what you ask of me." He replies in a serious tone.
"You're right, I don't. But we both don't know exactly what he'll do to me or how far he'll be willing to go until he gets what he wants."
Castiel nods with a look of dismay as he moves fast to untie you from the chair. You stand up and notice that he's holding out a knife towards you. There are no words between the two of you as you understand that you will have to actually banish him to provide evidence to the story.
The blade glides over the palm of your hand drawing a little bit of blood and you begin drawing the sigil on the chair. Once you finish you look back at him and he gives you a sad understanding smile.
"Find out what he wants and come find me Cas...somehow we will figure this out."
With that being said you press your hand down to activate the sigil and Castiel is sent away with a quick flash of light. You then flee the abandoned building that held you hostage and return to the world to hopefully find answers.
