A case had led you to sneak into an office building late at night in an effort to find more clues. But it turns out that a demon had followed you and when they attacked it took you slightly by surprise. Despite this you fight against the demon trying to get the upper hand as you take out your angel blade.
You internally feel exasperated at the fact that you would've finished the demon off by now if they hadn't have chosen to possess such a strong vessel. The demon is inhabited within a large muscular and tall man that fights against you with brute force.
Within the shuffle of fighting your only weapon against them is thrown across the floor. When you desperately turn to look where the blade went the demon manages to punch you across the face, which sends you falling straight down onto the floor below.
"Come on (Y/N). I'm getting bored I thought that a girl who hangs with an angel and the Winchesters would put up more of a fight."
You simply ignore their taunting words as you crawl fast across the floor towards the weapon. Right when you get the angel blade into the grip of your hand you hear a brief sound of pain and see a flash of white light in the corner of your eye. When you turn around you see that Castiel had smote the demon.
"Damn it Cas I had 'em!" You yell at him as you get up onto your feet.
Cas gives you a look of confusion at first, but then his face falls into a silent apologetic gaze.
"I'm sorry but I couldn't take any chances." He finally replies in defense.
You take in a breath of air and exhale, which gives you a moment to realize that you're in fact being a bit ridiculous, "I'm sorry too. I don't know what's wrong with me. I probably sound like Dean."
"Yes. The two of you share the characteristic of being stubborn and sometimes not asking for help when it's needed."
"How did you find me?" You say ignoring his analysis of Dean's and your personality.
"Sam told me you'd be here. Since that's what you told him on the phone a few hours ago. So I decided to...check up on you."
"Well thanks, but I don't need a babysitter."
"No. But you may need a partner. Even though you don't want one."
"I guess you can stay and help since we're all in this together. Why suffer alone right?" You say giving him a sad smile.
