Castiel has been missing for a while and you were more worried about him than usual lately because he had became a human. Despite his newfound vulnerable state he still continued to hunt and you felt that he had not taken the time to get used to the transition.
You were currently sitting up in the bunker doing extensive research on archangels for the Winchesters when the ringing of your cell phone pulls your eyes away from reading. Your heart rate speeds up when you see the name Cas on the screen.
"Cas?!" You ask in anticipation waiting to hear a response on the other end.
"(Y/N)...where are you?"
"Where am I?! Where are you?! Cas you haven't called in weeks I've been so worried I've been trying to track you down while helping Sam and Dean on a case of theirs. Ugh! Just where are you right now?!"
"Well I believe I'm in a hospital telling by my current attire. I just woke up and your number was the first one I could rememberrr -ahhh!"
"Cas are you okay?! What happened?" You ask him in a concerned tone.
"I think...the um...ouch! Being human is not as simple as I thought it would be. I'm trying to get out of here, but I think my arm is broken so these people in white coats that I presume are doctors will probably not let me leave so easily," Cas explains with continued grunts of pain.
"Do you know exactly which hospital you're at?" You ask him.
"This pamphlet beside my bed has the address. It says I'm near Omaha, Nebraska."
"Ok that's not too far of a drive from the bunker I'll come and pick you up just text me the address."
"I like texting...emoticons baffle me," he says with a smile in his voice.
A smile of your own shows on your face and you reply, "I love it when you're entertained by the smallest things. It's adorable!"
Your cheeks start to heat up once you realize what you just said and you quickly tell Cas that you are leaving now before ending the call. He probably hasn't noticed that you deeply care about him or perhaps maybe he has.
