Hours passed and I was almost finished unpacking all of my things. I had one last thing to do- hang up the picture of my friends and family.

I took the last thing in my suitcase, which was a box I placed all the picture in, and opened it. I had about 30 Polaroid pictures of all the memories I shared with everyone. I missed them. I looked at each one, one by one, reminiscing on the past. Each picture I hung up carefully on the wall. It was time to add to these memories.

I looked at the time and it was a quarter past 3.

"I'll just do all of the finishing touches when I get back," I told myself. I had to be at Calum's at 4.

I took a quick shower and freshened up. It was time to go.

"Auntie Agnes, are you ready to go?" I asked.

"One minute," she responded, "I need to finish baking the casserole. When it's done, can you carry it out to the car?"

"Of course."

"Thank you, be careful with it. I don't want you to burn yourself."

The timer rang and I took it out of the oven. We were off to Calum's.

My aunt knocked, then opened the door.

"We're here," She yelled, "is anyone home?"

"In the garden!"

We walked through the house and I set the casserole on the kitchen counter. We went out to the back.

"Sherry, is that you?!" Ms. Hood asked as she got up from planting to give me a big hug.

"Hi Ms. Hood," I smiled.

"Well hello there! Look at you, you're so grown up! Oh my! I can't believe how long it's been. You look amazing!"

I blushed.

"You must have a boyfriend, what's his name?"

"Oh no, studies first," I told her.

She laughed, "that's my girl. Calum is in his room right now, you can go check up on him."

I walked inside and knocked on his bedroom door.

"Just a minute," he said breathlessly.

He opened the door.

"What the heck are you doing?" I asked confusingly.

"Working out," he said as he did a few burpies.

"Since when did you care about your fitness?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Since I started performing with the band. I gotta stay looking good, you should try it."

"Hey... I'm better looking than you," I sassed.

"Sure..."

I gave him the evil eye and a mad face.

"I'm just kidding, you know that," he said.

I flipped my hair jokingly.

"Oh I forgot to mention, the guys are coming over tonight to practice. I want you to meet them."

I looked down at what I was wearing.

"You should have told me earlier! I would have dressed a little nicer, instead of worn this."

"You look fine."

I had on a pair of black yoga pants from Victoria's Secret, an old grey vintage batman tee I got as a hand-me down, and my spare black RayBan glasses I wear when I don't have my contacts in. I didn't even have make up on either and my hair was a mess.

"They won't care," he added.

"I guess," I replied.

"So... What do you wanna do?" He asked as he finished up his workout.

"Netflix?"

Calum and I watched several episodes of "How I Met Your Mother" then went downstairs to help Ms. Hood and my aunt with dinner. Calum and I helped by slicing up the vegetables for the stew.

"Mom, I gotta go set up for practice," Calum said as he put down the knife and left to go into the garage.

"Fine leave me with all the rest of the work," I fussed.

He stuck his tongue out at me.

I continued to help in the kitchen.

"So are you excited to start school here?" Ms. Hood asked me.

"Very. But I'm a little nervous."

"Don't be, you'll be just fine and I'm sure you'll do well in all your classes."

She was right. I had nothing to be worried about. As long as I stay focused, I'll be just fine. I mean, I did graduate high school with a 4.3 GPA.

The doorbell rang minutes later.

"Luke and Michael are here!" Calum yelled as he opened the front door.

"Hi Ms. Hood," they said in sync as Calum brought them into the kitchen.

"This is my sister from another mister, Sherry," Calum said as he introduced me to both of them.

"Hi," I waved politely. I didn't want to get up and shake their hands or anything since I had been chopping up vegetables and my hands reeked of onions.

"You're not what Calum described you as. You're pretty," Michael smiled and waved back.

I looked at Calum with a mean face. What did he tell them about me?

"Nice to meet you," Luke smiled and shyly waved back.

"We're missing a band member, he'll be here later. He's running late," Calum mentioned. "I'll introduce you to him when he gets here. Mom, just call us in when dinner's ready. We'll be in the garage."

In my head, I thought that they seemed like really cool guys so far.

We finished up making dinner and called them in to eat. They ran over to the kitchen counter and sat on the stools.

"We're starving," said Michael spinning in his seat.

The doorbell rang.

"I got it," said Calum walking towards the door.

I could hear him from the kitchen, "late as always."

They walked in.

"This is Ashton, he's part of the band," Calum introduced us.

I looked down. It can't be, I thought.
