In my head I pleaded for it not to be the same Ashton I met at the party and the one I drooled on. I didn't want to look up.

"Hi Sherry, nice to see you again," he chuckled.

It was him. I just smiled and continued to serve myself some food and sat down at the table.

"Psshh, I didn't even need to introduce you guys to each other. What a waste of my breath," Calum sassed, "wait how do you know one another?"

"We met back in California," Ashton said as they went to load up their plates with food.

All of the boys sat at the counter. But Michael walked over and sat next to me.

"Hi, mind if I sit here?"

"No, of course not," I told him.

"So how's it going?"

"Pretty good... and you?" I had no idea what to say. I'm not very good at conversations.

"It's been a good day for me as well."

I looked at his shirt and noticed Green Day on it.

"Really cool shirt by the way," I said, "I remember listening to them a lot when I was younger."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, my cousins were really into them and I guess I grew to like them too."

"Same here! I loved them growing up. What's your favorite song by them?"

"I walk a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known," I sang as I laughed.

He laughed too, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams! You're probably the coolest person on the planet right now."

Michael was really fun to talk to. The whole dinner we just yapped on about random things; who knew we'd have so much in common. I even forgot Ashton was here.

"Hey Mikey, are you going to join us or continue flirt with butthead?" Calum asked.

The boys had finished up and were tossing their plates into the sink; they were heading to the garage to practice a bit more.

"Yeah, just a minute. By the way we're just talking, thank you very much," he stated.

"Well I'm about finished, why don't you go join the boys now?" I told him.

I carried my plate over to the sink; he followed to do the same.

"Would you like to watch us?" He asked.

"Wow. Geez. It's nice that someone finally asked," I said loudly for Calum to hear.

"I didn't think you wanted to," Calum yelled back from the garage.

I looked at Michael, "I'd love to."

We walked in. Calum had on his bass guitar, Luke had a mic in front of him, and Ashton played the drums. Michael walked over and picked up a guitar.

"What do you think?" Calum asked, "don't we look like a real band?"

I smiled, "yeah, a real boy band."

Luke frowned and began to fake cry, "I don't to be in a boy band."

"We're actually more like a rock band... A punk rock band," Michael clarified.

"Well you can't be a punk rock band if you don't play punk rock, let's see what you guys got," I challenged.

They started to play a song. Michael began with a solo and Luke started singing. Soon Calum joined in with his bass and Ashton started smashing on the drums. They actually sounded really good! When the song ended, I gave them a standing ovation.

"What song was that?" I asked.

"An original. It's called Social Casualty," Ashton replied.

"So are we punk rock?" Luke said with his eye brows raised.

I responded, "hmm... not sure, play me another song and then I'll decide."
