Chapter 29: It's all over, Finally!!!

"What is that?" Rose asks as she looks at the door.

"That is your time to leave," her Grand Uncle replies as he drags both her Grandsons and her to the book case. Pulling out a book, the bookcase turns to a hidden passageway.

"I'm confuse!" Rose say as she stare at the passageway.

"I know you are my dear, but I can't let you three suffer because of my mistakes. I can't go with you guys because if I do I will just allow danger to follow me, so this is where I tell you good bye and please take care of yourself and your little cousins," he says smiling sadly.

Kneeling down he puts his hands on both of the boys shoulders and says, "Listen here my little nuggets, Grandpa can't come with you because he is not going to be around, but this beautiful girl right here is your cousin and she will take care of you better than I can. She will also love you because she have the kind of heart your Grandmother had."

"Grandpa is the bad men going to take you from us," one of the twins ask.

"No, it's more like Grandpa is saving all of you by stopping the bad guys for getting to you. You are the only boys left in our family and she is the only girl. I want you to have a future and she can give you that," he tells them.

The door knob starts to giggle indicating that someone is trying to get into the office. Knowing that his time is up, he pulls the both of them in for a hug. "Remember boys to be good and Ti amo," he whispers to them.

"Ti amo Nonno," the twins replies.

Meanwhile Samuel and his men have arrive just in time to see that what Don Appleton said is true. They were on their way when they receive the call about what were required of them. Also, Marco's phone was open, so they could hear everything that went on thanks to Rose.

"Remember, we have ten minutes until this place explodes, everyone in position," says Agosto.

Everyone reply with a nod and jump out of the vehicle and start shooting people who were against them. Antonio, Blair, Sara, Damiano and Nico makes their way into the house to find Rose while the others take down the enemies who gather to wipe out the Appleton Organization along with the Bartolomeo.

Don Appleton sits in the seat as he watches what's left of his Organization fight against Marco's men. He knew that this would happen due to him being fooled before, he even had people following Marco's every move. Marco was not loyal to his family because they treated him like a nobody. The reason for that is, he is not biologically a Renaldi because at a point in time his mother was unfaithful to Don Renaldi. They kept him around to do their dirty work while so that when push come to shove, they can use him as a scape goat.

That is why he made a plan to get Rose so that he can marry her, set his family up to be kill and become head of both the Appleton's and the Renaldi's. What he did not know is that Don Appleton have already written a will and turn over all of his assets to the Bartolomeo Organization. He also clear out  all the his personal belongings in the house so the it can burn to the ground.

"You bastard, how dare you trick me by bringing the same people who wants to kill me here, I should have known you would not stand by me and now you are going to lose what is left of your family," says Marco who had broken down the door.

Turning around, Don Appleton looks at Marco who have a gun pointed at him. "Boy, don't you know how many times your family screw my family over. Just like you I was young, naïve and extremely stupid that it cause me to gain what I envy and lose what I should have treasure. I envy power and everything that came with it which gave me the desire to get it, but in the process I lost the woman and brother who I should have treasured," he says.

"You can kill me but I am not the only one who is going to die tonight. All of those men who you made an alliance with, the small gangs and some of the lowest ranking mafia Organizations are going to fall too," Don Appleton says with venom. Pressing the button under his desk, Don Appleton automatically shut the door close as he smile at Marco who watch the door in fear as it bang shut.

As Antonio, Blair, Sara, Damiano and Nico look everywhere, they realize that Rose is not here. "You think that old bastard trick us?" asks Damiano who is shooting everyone in the hallway.

"Impossible! He is her Grand Uncle, he might have been an idiot in the pass but just like our family he care for his blood," replies Nico.

"That's it! He is just like our family, whereas if I know crap is about to go down, I would send my sister through one of our secret passage to get her out, Rose is not in the House, my sister is probably already outside," says Damiano.

"Then that would mean we need to leave now or we will be blown away with the others," says Sara causing everyone to gasps and start running to the exit.

"Watch out!" Sara scream to Blair as she shoots the man coming out of hiding behind the couch. "You could have die, you owe me big time," Sara says to Blair with a smirk but it is replace when Blair points the gun towards her and shoots.

Hearing a thud, Sara looks round to see a man on the floor. "Looks like we are even, now lets bounce before we get sent to hell," says Blair.

"Right," says Sara who follows Blair to the exit.

Outside Rose and the twins are safely in the Van as they wait for the others, Amber is trying to distract the twins from the gruesome scene as Rose watch her father, brothers, friends and their loyal men take out the rest as they run to the vehicles for escape.

Looking closely she sees, Antonio, Blair, Sara, Damiano and Nico run to the SUV that she is in and jumps out to hug them. "I thought you guys were hurt, don't ever scare me like that, don't you know when danger is around I always find a way to get out," she says in a scolding tone.

"Yes but we had to make sure, you are dealing with men who have an A in danger and killing," says Antonio.

"Yeah, well I have an A in powerful Genetics, both of my family is head of the powerful mafia Organizations so that counts for something," Rose replies causing everyone to laugh and enter the vehicle.

Running to the door, Marco tries to open it by banging and shooting at it, but fail because the door is made not to be  destroy easily.  

Turning back to Don Appleton, he points the gun to him and says, "Open it and I will leave Rose and the little boys alone, I will not mess with them and leave the country, I will even let you live."

"Oh little boy, who says I want to live," says Don Appleton. A few seconds later the place explodes leaving the once lavish mansion of the Appleton family in smoke and ash.
