CHAPTER 34

[SOMEONE's P.O.V.]

"Miss. Dumating na po ang pinahahanap niyo." She told me when I entered my fine dining restaurant.

I didn't utter any words but still listening to her habang nagtuloy-tuloy lang sa paglalakad papunta sa Private Office ko.

"Nasa HQ na po siya." Hindi ko siya nilingon at tumango lang ako and after that, sinara ko na ang pinto ng Office ko at saka hinubad ang suot-suot kong long thick coat at saka ito pinatong sa backrest ng swivel chair ko. I'm just now wearing my black silky sleeveless dress na above the knee, at tinernuhan ng silver stiletto killer heels.

It's been one month since bumalik ulit ako dito sa Philippines. I finished my high school here. And I was in New York back then. Doon na ako nagtapos ng college. At doon ko rin siya nakilala. Una ko siyang nakita when my grandpa went to his restaurant with me. And there, I saw him, eating alone while talking to someone over the phone.

He has this mysterious aura. But I don't know what's in him.

Because he's the only guy who got my attention. Siya 'yung tipo ng lalaking hindi namamansin ng mga tao. Kumbaga, snob. Yeah. He's a snobbish. He doesn't even know me.

I got interested in him. And I found out that he has a sister, how protective he is to his younger sister. How sweet of him.

I want to know him very well. Until I realized that my attraction for him grew bigger and bigger. I like him. I like him a lot. And I want him to be mine.

That's why when I found out that he went back to Philippines where he lives, I fixed everything in New York. My business, my clients, and I even resigned in my modelling career. After fixing everything there, I went here and now, I'm still looking for him.

I don't know where to find him. Dahil kahit pangalan niya, hindi ko nagawang malaman. Yes. I was always following him. But I never had the chance to know what's his name. Ang tanging nalaman ko lang ay isa siyang Engineer. When I asked his name to his employees, ang pakilala lang daw niya ay Engineer N. 'Yun lang ang nalaman ko sa pangalan niya.

Hay. Saan ko naman kaya siya makikita dito sa Pinas?

I decided to go to my HQ. Ang fine dining restaurant na ito ay ipinamana sa akin ng parents ko. Pagpasok ko sa HQ ay sumalubong sa akin ang lalaking kailangan ko sa paghahanap ko kay Engineer N.

I gave him the details. The details that I only knew about my Engineer N. His unit where he lived when he was still in New York, the company in NY that was built by him, and his codename: Engineer N.

Too bad. Ni wala rin akong picture niya. Paano kaya siya mahahanap?

"Heto lang ba ang mga detalye tungkol sa kanya?" Nakakunot-noo niyang tanong.

"Yeah."

"Tch. Wala na bang ibang details. Mahihirapan tayong mahanap ang taong 'to."

"That's your job. So, find a way. Any . way." Inirapan ko lang siya.

Hindi ko na siya hinintay na sumagot at iniwan na siya doon.

[THIRD PERSON's P.O.V.]

"May problema ba, love?" Tanong niya kay Dara nang mapansin niya na parang may malalim itong iniisip.

Hindi ito sumagot kaya naupo siya sa tabi nito sa kama at inayos ang unan nila. Nakaupo rin naman ito sa pwesto nito sa kama.

"Love?" Tawag-pansin niya rito pero hindi pa rin siya nito nililingon kaya wala siyang nagawa kundi mahiga na sa tabi nito at saka niya pinulupot ang isang braso sa baywang nito.
