Chapter 13

Alaska's Pov

We all sat around the dinnertable. "That was lovely."

"I'm glad you enjoyed itSharon."

"Call me Aaron." My momsmiled and started to gather the plates. "Let me help." Aarongathered up the rest and followed my mom into the kitchen.

"So nana what do you think?"

"Sharon seems lovely dear."

"He's got a nice ass."Nana chuckled. "What?"

"You just said that out louddear." I felt my cheeks blush red. "Don't worry I won't tell."

"Won't tell what?" Aaronsaid smiling at us both as he entered the room.

"How excited Justin was to seeyou, he was sat on the stairs waiting when I answered the door and hewas so upset when it ended up being the post man."

Aaron laughed. "Anyway,changing the subject, will we see Alaska and Sharon today?" Nana asked.

"Maybe it depends if Sharonwants to join in my usual singing session."

"Sure."

"Then let's go." I grabbedAaron by the wrist and dragged him upstairs to Nana's room. "I'lldo your makeup if you can mine." Aaron laughed before nodding. "Ijust thought who has your cat?"

"A neighbour, let me go andget my makeup." I started to rifle through Nana's clothes until Isettled on a red dress. Aaron walked in carrying a large makeup bag."Damn your Nana has great clothes."

"I'm forever stealing them,help yourself." Aaron flicked through the dreses and settled on alittle black dress.

Once we were both in full dragwe headed back downstairs into the living room. We were greeted bycheers from my mom and Nana. "This year I would like to introduce aspecial guest...Miss Sharon Needles." Sharon walked into the roomand struck a pose. "Beautiful." Nana said as she clapped. Ipointed at mom and she clicked play on the MP3 player, Toxic byBritney Spears filled the room. I handed a microphone to Sharon andwe both started singing and dancing around the room.

When the music ended we bothbowed and Mom and Nana clapped once again.Sharon turned to me, "soyou do this every Christmas eve?"

"Yep we have a lot oftraditions."

We sang a couple more songs thenheaded upstairs to untuck. "That was fun, your family are cool."

I nodded and continued toundress. "Why are you being so quiet?" I shrugged my shouldersand turned my back on Sharon whilst I pulled on a t-shirt. "What'sup?"

"Nothing." I picked up thedress and left Sharon in my bedroom whilst I went and hung it back upin my Nana's wardrobe. I flopped down on her bed and stared at theceiling.

The bed sunk next to me and Ifelt an arm snake around my waist. "You gonna tell me what's upnow?"

"It's just after tomorrow wewill both go back home and we won't be able to see each other forages and this has been fun."

"You don't want me bugging youall the time." Aaron laughed.

"Yeah I do." Aaron kissed myneck then got up and left the room closing the door behind him,leaving me with my thoughts once again.

"I see you've finally decidedto join us." Mom laughed as I sat down on the couch next to Aaron."Anyway i've got us all our outfits." Mom pulled out a carrierbag and handed a pair of white pyjamas to Nana and then a pair forme. "I hope I don't have a pair I can't keep white clean, that'swhy i'm going to hell."

"Don't worry Justin said youwere spooky." Mom pulled out a pair of pyjamas, just like mine, andhanded them to Aaron, this pair was black."

"You're the best."

"You're welcome."

We all got dressed in ourmatching outfits and returned to the living room where we sat aroundthe christmas tree. "Right Aaron we all have one present onChristmas eve." Aaron nodded and nestled closer to me. "All thesepresents I buy myself apart from mine which my mum buys. Right Justinyou can go first." Mom handed me my present and and I rippedthrough the paper with everyones eyes on me. "Thank you so muchmom!" I said as I leaped up to hug her with my new wig still in myhand. "You're welcome honey, I remember you've been on about it fora while now."

"Alright Aaron you can gonext."

"Don't worry I will go last."

"Alright mom you can go next."Mom handed a present to Nana, it ended up being some new books."

"Thank you love." Nana saidas she kissed mom on the cheek. Nana then handed a present to momwhich was some new cooking utensils. "Thanks mom."

"Alright Aaron here you go."Mom handed Aaron a square present, I knew what it was and was excitedto see Aaron's face. He started to take the wrapping paper off, thenstopped. "Thank you so much, you don't know how much Bowie means tome." He put down the half opened present and fell into mom's arms."You're welcome love but Justin was the one who told me you collectvinyls." Aaron smiled at me and fell into my arms.

"Thank you, thank you, thankyou."

"You're welcome Noodles."Aaron sat back down and pulled the last of the paper off and satstaring at the vinyls.

Mom gathered up the wrappingpaper and placed it in the bin. "Right Aaron you choose a film withJustin and I will make the hot chocolates." I got up and took Aaronover to the shelves full of DVD's. We settled on The nightmarebefore Christmas.

Aaron and I snuggled up togetherunder a blanket on the couch and Nana had fallen asleep in herarmchair clutching her new books. "I've really enjoyed being here." Aaron whispered, "youwill have to come and stay at my place sometime soon." I nodded andrested my head on Aaron's shoulder.

 "Here we go." Mom placed twomugs of hot chocolate on the table in front of us then placed thelast one down next to her. I pressed play and the film started toplay.
