Chapter 40

Sharon's Pov

"So babe are you excited for the cake testing?" 

"I mean we're getting free cake so..."

I climbed in the car and Chad got in the passenger side. "You do know where you're going right?"

"Yes of course."

About half and hour later I pulled up outside a little restaurant. "Told you I knew where I was going." 

"Sorry for ever doubting you." 

"You will be sorry in bed tonight."

"Will I now?" Chad replied with a wink.

We climbed out of the car and headed inside. "Ah you must be Aaron and Chad, it's lovely to meet you, i'm Tony."

"It's lovely to meet you." Chad said as he shook Tony's hand. 

"Right so i've made cupcakes to represent each of the cakes so we're not wasting anything and I just want to say that all our ingredients are organic and vegetarian safe."

"Sounds perfect."

"Well do come this way." We followed Tony over to a table in the corner where a selection of cupcake stands stood. "Right so first up we have a simple lemon cake." 

The day dragged on but we soon tried all the cakes. "Would you like to take some samples with you so you can make a decision and get back to me?"

"No I think that we have already decided."

"We have?"

"Yeah the red velvet cake."

"I should have known."

"So is that your final decision?"

"Yep."

"That's great, if you email me your design i'll have it made and delivered the morning of the wedding."

"Thank you."

"Well it has been lovely meeting you both and I guess we'll see each other on the big day."

"Aaron are you coming to bed?" 

"I'll be in, in a minute." 

"Alright."

I quickly dried my hair, pulled on some bottoms and then headed into the bedroom. I climbed into bed beside Chad and drifted off to sleep. 

BANG!

I sat up with a start. "Aaron did you hear that?" 

"Yeah it sounded like it was in the kitchen, i'll go check it out." I climbed out of bed and headed downstairs towards the kitchen. The light was on and the cupboards were being opened and closed. I stepped through the door and let my eyes adjust. 

"Willam?"

"Oh hey, I didn't wake you did I?"

"What are you doing in my kitchen at three in the morning?"

"I'm sorry, I was booked into a hotel ready for the stag and doe but I can't stay there anymore."

"Why?"

"Courtney and I fucked then got into a huge argument so can I crash here?"

"Babe what is it?" Chad walked into the kitchen. "Willam?"

"Hey Chad."

"I'm not even going to ask, i'm going back to bed don't keep my fiance too long."

"I won't."  Chad kissed my cheek and then headed back to bed.
